Spider-Man and Thor Declare War in October
I don't understand why people constantly complain about event fatigue the minute Marvel release new teasers. They tease pretty much every big storyline, and the likelihood is this refers to the Ultron War we've been expecting for months.
It's just a big story, it's not necessarily an event, and I suspect it will be limited to the Avengers books.

I wonder at how so many are against being entertained. Complaints upon complaints upon complaints. And the cycle continues.
As soon as an event is launched, in come the bitter, unhappy, cynical, pessimistic and plain old negative comments.
Guys, cheer up, it's comics and what is a bad story for one, is often found entertaining for another. If there's anything in comics, it's variety!
We complain about all the comic pulls out there and never having enough mula to pull them all. That's the beauty of material like this that doesn't interest you, you can save your hard earned money for other pulls that do! Voila! Problem solved.
I guess it's just human nature to gripe and complain about anything and everything and even before there's anything to gripe about! It's cool that Marvel is out there creating and trying to entice us with what's to come. What's the f'n problem?
If the most we have to complain about is a comic book story that doesn't interest us, then life is definitively good.
Thank you for putting that outlook into words. I hate the constant negativity of some comic readers.
@Orion2012: To me the symbol is the character of those heroes. It's not a Shield or an Hammer that defends people, it's the person that wields it. To me characters will always be more important than the objects they wield. So for me they are the symbol not the tool they use. But alas it is my point of view and you are entitled to yours.
@mesosteros: I totally agree with all of that. I don't know why people are tired of Marvel's events... Personally, I only disliked three of their events this decade (Fear Itself, AvX, and OMIT/OMD), the rest were pretty good. Though I would rather have bad events then boring fillers. I stopped watching Naruto for that reason too.
Also, has it occured to any of you guys that the hand in the lower teaser might not be Wolverine, but Ultron? Ultron does have an adamantium shell, and maybe he designed his new body to be able to have claws like Wolverine, so he could be a better fighter? I'm pretty sure everyone knows Wolverine has skin under his gloves, and the teaser shows under the gloves it's just metal. Also, even if he lost his skin, Wolverine would be dead forever, since he lost his ability to come back from that type of death.

I would like to see a brief moment of peace after AVX, maybe see Cyke take Emma to a nice island and mate with her. Just get his mind right :) I don't mind constant events as much as some, but like another stated it's all about the money so it wont be stopping anytime soon.

@Super_SoldierXII: I don't have a problem with events. Just with so many cross over events. I love events like the kraven family hunting all the spiders or The court of owls taking out the batman people. Its cool if its just isolated to those books the spiderman related or the batman related books. but I get tired of things like AVX where I have to buy comics I don't usually read like new avengers and secret avengers.
Also I've heard good things about secret avengers but I have too much to do to keep up with all of it right now.
I agree. Events can be within a family of books or amongst a few titles. Maybe it is a side effect of having practically ALL the heroes in New York.
Also, I personally are constantly underwhelmed by Secret Avengers, which is a shame because the concept and original line-up was so appealing to me. Maybe see if you have a friend that would let you borrow some issues before sinking too much cash into it.
Yeah that doesn't look like Wolverine's influence at all there. This does look interesting nevertheless.

Sounds cool, but thor better not die because if he does then make him STAY DEAD!!!. As for spidey eh.
Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man and Hulk.
Those 6 will never, ever stay dead. The rest of the Marvel U can blow up and they would be safe.
yea they need to go except for hulk, spidey and cap
You know, who cares if its another damn event. Its probably not and if it is, so what? If it is an event and you don't want to have anything to do with it, then don't pick it up. If it is another event, its probably a follow up to AvX or a crossover involving Thor.
I'm actually interested in this. Obviously Thor will have something to do with it but it being announced on a Spider-man panel, now that's interesting. The second image kinda looks like Wolverine's hand being burned. I see the three claws so Wolverine might have something to do with it. You know, it could be the next story for the Avengers since Bendis is leaving Avengers. Either that or a build up to The Age of Ultron or Ultron War or whatever the hell it will be called.
Another hero vs hero?
Wow, awesome. cant wait for the next event in marvel with hero vs hero.
Marvel events are fun, something crazy always happen in the events but nothing materialises after that. Sounds like thousands of people would be spending more money on this awesome cool new event.
The announcement of the next marvel event could only sound cooler if they said it's going to be drawn by JRJR

But they're much too famous. Four of them were in a billion dollar movie. They could tone down their spotlight hogging. Lord knows Wolverine is in far too many books. (Making him the first X-Man is stupid!)
The fact that you tried to argue that marvel makes good events and that DC's events suck makes it hard to take you seriously

Hey guys out there complaining about events... just stop.
Honestly, it will only stop if people stop buying it. But you know what? People are always going to buy it, until that cycle is broken the events will keep coming.
But I haven't bought an event since the Civil War...not my fault most fan have buyers remorse
@Cafeterialoca: no no I mean I love them both teams, but the way things are going right now with the whole AvX thing i'm really disappointed in them ;(. The event is nice, but the way the characters are behaving it's not them. Anyway thats just me.

Yep your right, but there not villians then the avengers will gain the upper hand again probably take all the x-men into the negative zone for all the trouble they given them. Wolverine!? i'm so pissed at him can't even tell you how mad he is making me.

Never been a fan of Wolverine, and I'm baffled how he's still popular when he's as overexposed as he is.
