VISION #3

(W) Tom King (A) Gabriel Hernandez Walta (CA) Mike Del Mundo

• A house attacked. A daughter dying. An old, dead friend screaming out in pain. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.

• The Vision created his family to be normal. This isn't normal. This is terrifying. And it's just the beginning.

• The epic tale of Vision and his family continues as he fights to remain ordinary, and that fight starts to tear his ordinary world apart.

This book is cringe inducing, awkward, uncanny, and almost scary and I love every moment of it

I can't get enough of this comic :)

Props to Tom King for taking The Vision in such a unique direction at the peak of his mainstream popularity after Age of Ultron

Uh-oh, the narrator said they "where" good kids. I can't wait to see how horribly twisted this will turnout. Lmao

When I first heard about this comic I thought the wife and kids would reject him for turning out just like Ultron. Nope, or at least not yet, the big issue is whomever he got the mental imprint for the Virginia and as a result the two kids got her crazy too. I'm loving it.

@westy206: you should. It's wonderful. It reminds me a lot of Edward scissorhands

This book is something so rare when it comes to comics, and that is a book that legitimately unnerves you when reading. King is doing a killer job on the scripts and Walta's art is pitch perfect for the tone.

Am I petty for wanting a book about Vision and not Vision Married With Children?

Not really. This is a good comic, but so far hardly a superhero comic.

Vision was always one of my favorite 3rd stringers growing up, and even with his solid white look he was my favorite in Capt. America and the Avengers for Super Nintendo. His life as one of the many mechanical Avengers who doesn't really have a life would be entertaining enough I would think. We already had a more youthful version of Vision show up in Young Avengers, so I don't see the reason to give him children now. Just imagine the possibilities for a solo Vision when the rest of the Avengers are taking a day off... Vision vs Modok, Master Mold [X-Men team-ups are always good right?], a cosmic crossover with X-51 perhaps, maybe Vision could go to space for a bit during an adventure and pal around with the Guardians of the Galaxy even?

Vision: Married With Children just doesn't do it for me and is probably the last thing I'd wanna see happen to him. Unless of course it was Vision with Wanda again, which I'd pay to see. And what's Wonderman been up to lately?

This book is like a jj abrams failed fox series on tv. I like it, but I can see it jumping the shark quickly.
