I'm hoping that Ultimate Iron Man takes over as the current Iron Man when this all ends.

@humanrocket: Honestly, I'm really hoping that no one gets completely replaced. Maybe if existing 616 characters took on some of the history/traits of their Ultimate/Other selves, I'd be okay, but I don't want to see anyone be replaced. Wishful thinking, I know, but a man can dream...

This is going to be so cool. Can't wait....

@maddpanda531: I just have a feeling that we will not be seeing a lot of 616 characters make it through this. But...I'm in the same boat as you. I hope that if they are replaced they will make it back to us eventually *crosses fingers* . But, I just don't really like Superior Iron Man, so that's why I wouldn't mind seeing Ultimate Iron Man for a while.

Why does Marvel have to come out with 10 or 20 different covers for their number one issues? What, is this the 90s? Hopefully this will be better than DC's main Convergence title. Secret Wars: "The event to end all events . . . until the next event!"

@humanrocket: Ugh, yeah, I've got that feeling too. Bit uneasy about it, but it's there. But hopefully we'll get a decent feel for the new MU in the Avengers FCBD issue. And yeah, I'm hoping that Secret Wars manages to fix Iron Man somehow. I miss him being a good guy.

@maddpanda531: Yah, I was really sad at the end of Avengers 44. That's not the Iron Man I grew to like over the recent years :(

@ostyo: Not sure about better, but I'm not a fan of Superior Iron Man. So I wouldn't mind having an Iron Man that reminds me somewhat of the old Tony than the inverted Superior Iron Man.

@humanrocket: I feel ya, bro. I didn't read any of Superior Iron Man because I didn't like him in Axis, but I got a sense of him from his appearances in other comics and I was definitely not a fan. Avengers 44 was the real nail in the coffin, though. That scene at the end hurt.

I forgot how much I loved Ultimate Iron Man's armor, that suit looks seriously awesome here.

I cant help but think what the Joe Quesada said about Ultimate-616 universe crossovers everytime this has happened since Spider-Men event.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited about these crossover as anyone else but its still funny. Lol never say never.

(But it should be noted that its really great as to how long they waited before the crossover, if it had happened long before then Ultimate universe would have lost a little value)

@humanrocket: When Marvel puts ''superior'' in title, it always means inferior characters that makes me want to drop the books. IF that was their goal, they accomplished it during Superior Spiderman and now Superior Iron Man. I am worried they might go ''Superior Marvelverse ! '' or some crap and I will drop them all together.

And I am worried what might come out of this Secret Wars clusterbuck. Certainly it will be a huge mess. Hopefully won't be worse than the New 52.

@humanrocket: Well this certainly would give Marvel "legitimate" reason to swap/reinvent some of their characters... His other self died/Is MIA so this is the Iron man/Thor/spider-man/Fury or what have you that's left now.

I wonder if the writers will remember that they already killed off Ultimate GOTG-team about two years ago?

@wowlock: Im not sure i follow you, so what you're saying that you dislike "Superior" books because the heroes are replaced with jerk-y versions of themselves? Isn't that the whole point of them? At least judge the books for their actual quality.

Remember, it's about good stories, not fan-pandering.

PS. The writers at Marvel knew about Secret Wars for years and have prepared for it, also, they confirmed it's not a reboot.

Bro,i really wish Cyclops survives Secret Wars,really do.So,from what i've read/heard so far,are both universes going to be destroyed?It'd kinda suck if they did...

I still think they are going to end up shoving all the mutants into a separate universe at the end of all this. Also, aren't most of those Ultimates dead in the current continuity or are they setting this before 616 Galactus basically kills them all?

How necessary is Hickman's run of the Avengers/New Avengers to read this? Because I've tried multiple times and just couldn't get into his writing. But I'm really excited for Secret Wars, so if I have to...

@theblackhood: Well,i believe it's actually before it,but we shouldn't make quick conclusions when talking about Marvel :3 though.Shoving mutants in a separate universe ?lolz,kinda far ,if you ask me.The covers are really cool tho.I really hope Cyke makes it through this.He's already died ,like 2 times already(Uncanny X-men 32,And Uncanny X-men somewhere from 27-30,not sure exactly),let alone being killed in the 1610 universe during Ultimatum as well.But,i don't really think they'll kill him though,i believe it's mostly second-class characters that may die.

@teerack: Lolz yeah,sometimes writters forget that Cyke has a human side too,huh?Squirrel girl and Spider woman are like,forever alone ,Doom/Richards and Stark/Howard the Duck is a completely different thing tho lol

That End of the World Party cover is fantastic. I love seeing Tony standing there with Howard the Duck.

@laryking: I believe that they've already foreshadowed his survival and involvement in a future arc in Uncanny Inhumans, which also suggests this whole "separate universe" thing won't happen.

Looking forward to this. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Basically, I think this event will go really well so long as everyone remembers where they came from before the universe restarts, that way we get continuity and get to see different characters interacting with each other.

I almost feel sorry for the Ultimate guys, when the 616 FF, Avengers, X-men, Inhumans and others show up (lord help them if Magneto is there) there going to tear apart Fury's fleet.

Of course this is just a distraction by Reed (ultimate) and Thanos to what there really up to.

Because stupid people buy them.

@zearing: Eh, you should be fine as long as you know about the incursions, and that different realities are colliding with each other. Marvel will definitely make this accessible for people who haven't been reading Hickman's Avengers.

I'd have liked to see a few more pages, but what we get here is more than satisfying. The art's great and the character interactions look interesting. A promising start, but let's see if Hickman can pull off a decent ending or if we'll get stuck with something like Original Sin.

Same for Captain America and Thor >_> ( f@ck even the hulk, doc green is cool and all, but he needs to gtfo soon, not like he can hunt hulks forever )
