This look pretty good. Hopefully Humphries will do good things with the book and characterize Simon and Jessica right. I really want that variant cover.

The Rebirth issue was pretty great so I'm anxious to see what's next!

@nightfang3: Pretty sure they can but it's based on will power and I don't think it's automatic.

These two are gonna be fighting RLs soon though so they'll have to figure it out. (Simon should already know since he has more experience)

@theexile285: Will power should only be a factor when it comes to constructs, but having a shield of light around you shouldn't take anything.

@nightfang3: it's more about courage than willpower.

@nightfang3: The shield is constructed by the ring too. The weaker the user's willpower is, the weaker the constructs get including the protective shield. Don't forget that during Hal Jordan's Rebirth and during the first few issues Oliver Quinn and Bruce Wayne couldn't even bear to put on the ring let alone create the shield. Just because it's the most basic thing a Green Lantern can do doesn't mean that it happens automatically or that all shields have the same strength. It depends on each user's willpower.

Jessica is a pretty interesting character...well at-least her ring from Volthroom is interesting.

As hard as this is to say..this actually looks good...
