The only redeeming quality to this book is Alex Ross' awesome variant covers. The rest...I'm just not feeling it. Far too dated, I hate the 'new developments' in Steve's life, Remender's total misunderstanding of how the super-soldier serum works- he needs to be off Cap ASAP, so it can get back on track to being the top book it was when Brubaker was writing it, the kind of book it should be. As a loyal, longtime Cap fan, this is the first time I've dropped his book. Even through the Liefeldian travesty that is Heroes Reborn I stayed on- and that's gotta tell you something.

10 to 1, that mysterious figure in body armor is an older version of Ian Zola.

That variant is pretty awesome. Might get it just for that.

Really not digging the new captain america. Story seems to be all over the place. Even though I liked the first bit in Dimension Z and i like Jet Zola.
