As with anything, it depends on the writing (I'm optimistic in this case). Art looks great.

And disco Dazzler is so much better than the Bendis emo Dazzler.

This book will continue post Secret Wars/10.

@kokemabb200: TGOT showed that Aaron can be an amazing writer when he wants to be.

@child_of_the_past: TGOT was definitely one of my favorite Thor runs, but I don't think Aaron did a good job with "Thor" (female-Thor). There was no real plot, and the writing (especially the dialogue) was pretty dodgy. It felt more like he was trying to show that everyone was cool with her and she was "awesome/cool" but he didn't really care about the plot.

The worst part was the characterization of Freyja and the way he made her interact with Odin. The book felt more like a PR stunt, and a heavy-handed attempt to pander to women. I was looking forward to female Thor (since changes to established characters are never really permanent) but it just felt vapid, and like a waste of an opportunity.

I just don't want him writing anymore female-centric books, since I (personally) feel like he doesn't know how to handle those type of characters

Still no Sue Storm

I like the opening. You can almost hear the storm clouds forming in the distance (or that could just be my contrarian streak). The art is good, and our heroines have something to fight for. Considering Willow Wilson's record as a writer (Ms. Marvel), A-force has serious potential. I will definitely be buying this one.

I don't get it. Even in the 60s when things were very sexist they still had a minimum one woman character (who didn't walk around with her teets showing I'll add). So this is more sexist that the 1960s. LOL.

@adrianjfm: I know and that's great, but this whole event is about multiple versions. She has only one one version so far, where are the others? Also she shouldn't be left out of this book, her being Marvels first lady and all.

Not sure yet. She's sitting next to him with Valeria, and I'm pretty sure it's the same Sue and Valeria that "died" when the two Earths collided.

That cover with Rogue is pretty awesome. Might have to pick it up, if shops aren't charging too much for it.

Where's Nico's gauntlet?

@champion99: There is no reason to think that this is 616 Nico so no surprise that the gauntlet is missing. I think a better question is since when can Dazzler fly?

Rogue and Jubilee seem to be the same ones from X-Men 92, but Storm has her black uniform and long hair, which matches neither 92 (white uniform) nor current 616 (mohawk).

There's no Ultimate Runaways, so that's definitely 616 Nico.

@outbreak666: It's as if she's just ceased to exist! I'm hoping that they have something big (and not terrible) in store that they're saving her for. It's mind-boggling that they are not utilizing the previously most-used Inhuman character. I feel like I'm losing my mind. It's hard to imagine what kind of plot line would involve her that would extend before, through, and after Secret Wars though.
