I think it might be the introduction of his actual sister or something else concerning the new family business graphic novel that came out. But that's definitely a girl that got bit besides peter.

It turns out that due the Age of Ultron, Uncle Ben didn't die but instead was given powers by the Jackal

i honestly wouldnt be surprise if it was Liz Allen that got bitten.

that opinion aside, so how the hell are they gonna swing this one? another person got bitten the same day Peter did? So what, they just went through life normal not ever approaching Spider-man about being bitten?

In the ultimate in skeevy moves. Peter Parker put a spider in the mircowave and then threw it on Gwen's arm to try to give her powers; instead it just made her bones extra brittle....

Exactamundo. If it's one thing that both Marvel and DC have it's gobs of characters with the same motif as the most popular ones. Another Spider-Lady? Yawn. What they shoulda did was have the mob send a gamma super soldier serum spider to first wipe out her family then follow her onto a space shuttle, and - during a cosmic ray shower - bite her right in the heart necessitating an Asgardian pacemaker. Now THAT'S original.

If this plays out as a long term thing, I hope it's an entierly new character and not someone we know who has kept her spider powers a secret all this time.

Could it be about a female that was bitten and never wanted to become a hero or villain. She just wanted to be normal and pretend she has no powers. "With no powers, comes no responsibility." People could have died due to her choices and the regret is why she is coming out now.

For the love of all that is sacred in comics, don't let Peter have done something malicious to this girl. Peter already had his jerk/sin moment when he let the robber run past him. Leave the characters origins alone!
