I've been following Comicvine for 10 years and I just now made an account to say that this is the most cringe-worthy Spider-man related development I've ever read.

I get that this is another Gwen whose own Peter was the Lizard. I accept that Miles is now one of two major Spidermen. But I don't know, throwing these two together just kind of insults the idea of the original Gwen Stacy and her Impact on the one true Spiderman.

But hey, I can comment now so some good came out of it!

But I guess it was going to happen at some point.

Well, the original Gwen cheated on Petter with Norman Osbourne, A.K.A Green Goblin. So this

is defiantly the best route for this Gwen so that Marvel won't say "Hey we don't have a

Spider-man story. Quick have Spider-Gwen get into a relationship with some bad dude."

I don't actually follow Spider-Gwen (I read like four issues and didn't like the series so I didn't know much about her.

But with some research, I have now concluded. I am 100% sure this is not okay and its just weird. I like Miles, but seeing him with any variation of Gwen is pretty gross. Really wish we could have gone a much less creepy route.

In short. I agree, this is not okay.

Things are just getting worse and worse, between the X-Men, Civil War II and all the Bendis sh*t, now that...

Yup, my only issue with this is that Miles is underage. They need to explain that, and considering this is Bendis, it's gonna be a single throwaway line. If they were both of age, then I'd be happy for them

Kind of my thoughts on the issue. Her being a Gwen Stacey isn't too big a deal, given that Peter knows and seems to have accepted pretty well that this is not his Gwen, so I imagine (while he would be a little weirded out) he'd be fine with them being together. But from what I understand Miles is underage, with about 4 years away from actually being legal.

Then again maybe this will end like it did when Ultimate Black Cat found out Ultimate Peter was a teenager.

From a legal standpoint, I guess it's not statutory rape if they don't have sexual intercourse... Still an adult having a relationship with a minor is not something they can just shrug off. My guess is they will say they secretly hooked up before Gwen became an adult.

I hate that the new versions of characters are not receiving original ideas. Miles Morales could have been his own character, but now they've just made him Spiderman. It's not good for character longevity.

@solid_snake97: Dude reading old Marvel is literally the only Marvel I can stand. Like now I'm trying to read up on more Dr Strange and Silver Surfer stuff and story wise it's 10000x better than anything the last 10 years from mainstream books of Marvel

Why is the art showing him as taller, when we all know he is younger and shorter than her. She is almost as tall as the actual spider-man.

Ok, I thought it was off too but I wasn't sure.

@2cool4fun: He's not as short as you think. This was back in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man and you can see he's a little taller than her here. This isn't the same Gwen but I'm sure she's around the same age. A lot of time has past since this issue so it's not really hard to believe that Miles is older and taller now. Also, is it ever stated how old 616 Miles is? They could've boosted his age when he left the Ultimate universe.

Now Spider-Gwen is pregnant :P

Isn't she too old her him? I thought Miles was like 15, maybe 16...? Isn't Gwen in her late teens, early twenties?

Miles is somewhere in between 16 and a half and 17 years old at this point. I'd say he's 17. So I think, for the most part, he looks right for his age.

Miles was born in 1999.
