Marvel’s biggest names are getting small and shrinking down to size this June for a series of special variant covers! Today, Marvel is pleased to announce 15 ANT-SIZED VARIANT COVERS coming to some of June’s newest Marvel titles! I really hope people don't come here to complain. Yes, we all know this a marketing thing. Yes, we know it is silly. Yes, there are people who will buy these and no I am not one of them. That's should cover everything.

Oh yeah there is going to be Ant-Man movie this year. The cover are just meh.

Maybe these could be used as the Blank Covers. You know given to artist for commissions and stuff...

I'm just confused because I thought June was the month of the variGWENts. That was a terrible stretch and I'm sorry. Is it not weird to have two sets of promotional variants in one month though?

Sounds like it will be fly. I just began reading comics. The reason being is because of my own PERSONAL TWILIGHT. Finishing up The Death of Wolverine PT.1

Not feeling it. I don't hate it but I think They could do better.

"Johnson! DC is gonna go all out on June with their Joker Variant Covers! Tell me we've got our best artists collaborating on something even more interesting and marketable!"

I don't mind that they're doing variants for Ant-man but I wish they had been more creative with it.

Kudos to Marvel for figuring out how to sell comics without using ink on the covers...

I wonder if they really think this is a good idea that will surely draw positive attention? If those people are making money on such ideas i'd like to work at Marvel marketing division.

The could have shown the characters shrunk into different environments and that would have at least been creative. This is just garbage.

They basically could've shown anything else along with them shrinking and I would've been fully on board with this. Garbage at worst, Lazy at best.

Though, obviously not as cost efficient, a cover packed with tiny characters and scenes would have been way better. Sort of like a 'Where's Wally/Waldo' page.

I was thinking more like a "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" scene. For instance, you could have Captain Marvel flying around some kid's science faire model of the solar system. Or Wolverine fighting tiny hand ninjas on an electric car track set up around a Christmas tree. There were so many things they could have do with this but instead went super lazy.

Yeah, I know, I'm just stating alternatives to the obvious (Well to anyone besides Marvel :P).
