Lumberjanes and Gotham Academy Crossover Series Announced for June 2016

BOOM! Studios and DC Comics are teaming up to bring two beloved properties together in a six-issue crossover miniseries--Lumberjanes and Gotham Academy.

"Lumberjanes will get a six-issue crossover series with Gotham Academy, DC Comics' story of boarding school students set in the darkness of Gotham.

It's a natural fit: Both series follow an ensemble cast of young characters as they grapple with normal teenage stuff (love, tragedy, identity) and the kind of stuff that most teens will never have to face, like yetis (Lumberjanes) and Batman's nemesis Killer Croc (Gotham Academy). The limited series is written by Chynna Clugston-Flores (Blue Monday) and illustrated by Rosemary Valero-O'Connell (Lumberjanes)."

I have never heard of Lumberjanes Badges, but hopefully this does so we can get Green Lantern and Power Rangers crossover in the future.

I've never read any series, but I respect DC for stepping outside the box.

Personally cause of the Green Lantern/Star Trek, I think it'd be more appropriate to have Power Rangers team up with the Titans (preferably Jeff Lemire's Earth One version). Although with DC doing all these cross company crossovers, I wonder if JL/Transformers is back on the table?

Wow, between this and Next Semester, I am a happy GA fan. Can we have a Gotham Academy & Scooby Doo team up too?

Totally unexpected but it has a ton of potential, Lumberjanes is a great series.

@theexile285: A crossover with Scooby-Doo would be awesome as long is it isn't that upcoming revamped hipster team.

DC's certainly doing well with their crossovers, Marvel should pick up the pace. Maybe they should have their Marvel heroes team up with an up coming book from IDW called ROM. For some reason I think that might go well. XD But seriously, that needs to happen.

@nightfang3: For the most part the Scooby Gang is timeless, it doesn't really need a revamp and I think they would fit better with the GA crew then the revamped Scooby Gang with all their gadgets.

Actually not really. Shaggy is a burn out. Every generation has their own burnouts. Hipsters while they might have some burnouts among them are not burnouts.

DC on a roll (I guess) on doing crossovers. First Batman and TMNT, Green Lantern and Star Trek, now this. Is Marvel even planning doing a crossover.

Apparently Karl Keschl did the cover for the first issue. Its very nice.

Well, when will it be Gravity Falls crossover with one of the mentioned before?
