First Look: WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #13

Things are getting pretty crazy in Marvel's AVENGERS VS X-MEN story arc. If you've been following the story and you've been looking forward to see a big cross-over of the event into Marvel's WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN title, then you'll be happy to hear that's exactly what will be happening this July in WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #13.Marvel's given us a preview of the issue where we'll be seeing how the students of the Jean Grey School deal with the threat of the Phoenix Force. I hate every issue with this guy, out of the pure fact its not Bachalo.

I actually like his art, too bad Jason Aaron is one of the worst human beings alive.

A whole issue of Gladiator doing nothing but kicking butt and taking names?

This could be the best thing ever, except there is one problem...how the Hell is this going to add anything to AVX outside of showing that the Phoenix Five are ridiculously overpowered (dare I say more than Loeb-force Rulk?)

The issue looks good.

i wonder how kid gladiator fits in this...

When this is collected I think the Phoenix force AvX stuff is going to stick out like a sore thumb

damn! PF emma got owned! straight in the heart! this issue looks awesome! stop hating on the art. its good. oh and warbird is the BOMB!! seriously this is the coolest character in a while. her and kid gladiator. but mostly her.

Worth it just to see Warbird stab Emma.

funny thing: i wanted to add that but i thought........ eh been done. great what if issue.

How some of you guys aren't digging Bradshaw's work is absolutely beyond me. He's like a slightly more cartoony Arthur Adams, who can actually produce a comic on a monthly deadline.

I'll buy any book this guy works on.

damn its a shame I actually liked Warbird, but I like the X-Men more, i am really curious to see how this events going to end in September, I just hope they dont do anything terrible to the X-Men. All I do know is that the Avengers and X-Men will prob never be cordial to each other again lol

I love WatXM - but I wish like a few of the X-titles it was separate from the AvX continuity

i hope they make Glad look good!

I can't freaking wait! Wolverine and the X-Men is the best X-Men series I have ever read in years! Jason Aaron is da man!

Say what?! I have met Jason Aaron twice. He lives like 30 min away from me. He is the nicest, kindest guy I have ever met. He really knows how to write. He can flesh out anything really well and i love how he adds comical hijinks to Wolverine and the X-Men!

Add me to the list. I mean he's obviously got talent but there's just something about his style which really irks me. And I absolutely despise the way he draws faces.

Yeah, I like both Bachalo and Bradshaw, but I always end up kind of exhausted with Bachalo and glad when Bradshaw comes in.

Almost looks like Gladiator got handed his nose on the cover.

Jus gonna say it but Namor's toes look really effed up

Avengers vs. X-men feels like its been going on forever.........

LOL @ What Warbird did to Emma. One of the many reasons why i adore the character.

i feel uncanny xmen is the better xmen series but WatX is pretty good too.

...you see, this issue is a call back to X-men 137 when the X-Men fought the Shiar empire over the fate of the Pheonix in the blue area of the moon.

Makes me wonder why he didn't call in the Annihaltors? He is a member of that team after all & They are the galaxy's biggest heavy hitters.

So Gladiator takes on a Phoenix empowered, Cytorrak empowered Colossus (Surely nothing could rival such physical might, if these empowerements were the case) or has Cytorrak deserted him?

the tone of this book was great with Bachalo drawing it. Hope he's still on it.

I doubt Marvel will care about that,they don't own the rights and it's not like they did anything special when the first X-Men film came out

They only launched the ultimate line which was a perfect jumping point for new readers and also feature the X-Men wearing the same uniforms they did in the movies. Other then that, Marvel does not care whether or not movies which ties into their comics succeed or not.

They only launched the ultimate line which was a perfect jumping point for new readers and also feature the X-Men wearing the same uniforms they did in the movies. Other then that, Marvel does not care whether or not movies which ties into their comics succeed or not.
