Ugh Modok is freakin' dumb. Every time I try to get one of my friends into comic books there are characters like Modok that I have to make excuses for. "No really, its not just stupid kid stuff. Who's that? Oh that's Modok, we ignore him."

I don't know how all you people can say this doesn't look good. It's not the main series of Secret Wars, it's a companion series specifically made to contain just huge fights that are happening on Battleworld, and it looks to me like they are doing this perfectly. Punisher Sorcerer Supreme mash-up and like a gazillion MODOKs? That sounds absolutely awesome to me, bring on the carnage. Very excited about this series. @sasquatch888 The whole thing about this being worse than convergence? Not even possible. Convergence (at least most of it) has been super dull, with a few exceptions. Which was a total bummer because I was pretty excited by that series as well. Too bad it's been so boring so far.

That Wolverine's costume looks so cool!

These sound pretty fun. Reminds me of AvX: VS. If they have a final issue like AvS: VS #6, then it'll be totally worth it.

Disagree: I care deeply about Nextwave. It was a clever and well-written book with beautiful art and engaging characters. We need more books like Nextwave.

Is this the punisher from What if wolverine became lord of Vampires? In the story Wolverine's Vampire horde takes most of the characters in the New York Area, inlcuding Dr Strange killed by a Vampire Juggernaut. The only guy left is Frank Castle, Dr.Strange's Spirit guides him and The Punisher is given Stragne's Cloak and Medallion. Yeah back then Marvel had good writers. It was a great story actually.
