First Look: FOREVER EVIL #2

This week FOREVER EVIL started and we saw the villains will not be taking it easy on the heroes. We even looked at some minor spoilers for the issue HERE. We might have to wait until October 2 for the second issue but DC has released an early look at that next issue.

The villains have taken over the world! The Teen Titans fight back! Can the inexperienced teen heroes do what the adults could not? (Answer: Nope. It goes very poorly.)

I don't know anything about the Crime Syndicate, what's up with Power Ring?

IIRC we haven't actually seen his costume yet

Well on the front of his Villains Month issue he has on a mix between current and young Superman costumes

Just yesterday I was slating the art for this series but this looks amazing. I'm gonna put it down to the rush of a 1st issue. Or maybe the inkers.

@jonny_anonymous: Because he was cloned from an earlier Superman and Lex doesn't have access to Kryptonian Armor I'm guessing.

They should have redesigned Black Manta. Maybe a mixture of comic and Young Justice costumes.

I already feel bad for the Teen Titans. I give them props for giving it an honest shot but we all know how this goes. This event can only get better. I'm rooting for ya Lex!

I meant him being like socially awkward, lol.

In the issue itself, the Bizarro that we saw was just wearing a Superman T-Shirt that the test subject bought. It's not necessarily he's actually costume. Also considering the issue takes place three years in the past Superman may not have been wearing his proper suit at the time

Hoo, boy. This is not going to end well for Cassie, I reckon.

The current TT get destroyed so then the old TT have to come back together again!!! I wish...

@dernman: He looks terrible on this particular cover (seriously, what kind of helmet is that?), but in Aquaman and when they showed him in Forever Evil 1 his costume looked great.

Well if Bizaro just goes to wearing the same costume as Superman then that's pretty boring

I really hate sleeveless, 'roided out, Captain Cold. That's just not how that character should ever look.

why is batman on the cover?

They should give Owl Man the chin spike like Midnighter has.

David finch is one of my favourite artists wish this series could be an ongoing series in the new 52 focusing on the villians for a change.

People should worry about there isnt any Wonder Woman´s villain but instead there is Catwoman who was with Justice League of America when Crime Syndicate appear.

@jwalser3: This version of him is a total stuttering wuss. As of yet not explained, he just is.

It might be that Power ring is degenerating for being outside his world. Ultraman also seems to have some injury in his face.

These pencils look great. I've been pretty critical of Finch's work since making the jump to DC. Someone get this man a different inker.

Sorry I'm still reading back issues, but is Batman evil now? Because he's in the picture.

He'll apparently have a reason for working with the villains according to DC.

There's a few theories on just what his motive will be but the most likely is that these guys are the lesser evil here.

Well Batman always has the Lazerous Pit, so its most likely that will happen. That or some evil mind control b*ullshit.

Nah, I just think he'll be on Lex's side because there's no real other choice.

I want to have a comic book with Power Ring and Deathstorm together as a team. I love the way Deathstorm talks to him and just how the two work with each other.

Just out of curiosity, why is Batman on the cover? Is it actually Bruce?

I think, since Green Lantern is brave and confident, Power Ring is the opposite: fearful and nervous.
