Love James Robinson and dat art! But I hope they don't go to "superhero" with the FF, they always work better as explorers and scientists

good art, hope the story holds up

I just hope it's good personally. Ever since Hickman's awesome run finished, the FF haven't had the best creative team on them. I really haven't liked what Fraction's done to the FF at all. I want Robinson to do a good job but he's a very inconsistent writer. He can go from writing awesome books like Shade, Starman and Earth 2 to very mediocre titles like his Superman, Justice League of America and All New Invaders series. I hope his FF run falls in the former since Morrison does have a knack for old Golden Age heroes.

I really hope that this book lives up to my expectations and that it is even slightly close to Hickman's great run.But a person can never be sure with James Robinson,he has some great works up in his story but his most recent work has been pretty mediocre and inconsistent.

@lvenger: Invaders has only had 2 issues and has not even finished its first arc, You can not call it mediocre yet because by that logic then his earth 2 was horrible.

Red just isn't the Colour for the FF

@z3ro180: that was the idea, the editor wanted a colour that would look jarring on the F2F to signify that something wasn't right.

So with this costumes now they are called the Incredilbles?

Wow, hadn't thought that with the red uniforms they look like The Incredibles! HA! Wonder if there will be a grand Invaders, FF, Incredibles crossover with Robinson writing! Can't wait to see what he and Kirk are bringing.

The art looks fantastic but Robinson has been disappointing on Invaders thus far, so I don't have the highest of expectations. Someone please save the F4!

@br_havoc: The first reviews haven't exactly been glowing and opinions haven't been blown away by Invaders but fair enough.

Considering how the Fantastic Four has ranked on the Diamond Sales Chart in recent months, somebody better save the F4! Let's hope Robinson and Kirk can do it....

My opinion on this upcoming title keeps changing. Sometimes I like the new direction sometimes I don't. As of now, I'm not liking it. But only time will tell when the series finally comes out.

Miss the White uniforms. those were freaking cool. The red and black is over done. Deadpool pulls it off the best

FF is always changing their uniforms, sometimes it's white, sometimes it's blue, sometimes it's dark blue, and now it's red, what next Green? Yellow? Dark Green? All Black?

I'm honestly really bummed that the white Future Foundation costumes are gone. Also is the FF going to play a part in this book? I really love those FF kids and need to see them again soon.

I'm excited for this book (though I don't like the new costumes... yet) but what's with the premise? The previous NOW! Fantastic Four book started with Reed dying or something and now it's going to be "The Fall of the First Family?" A little somber, if you ask me.

I think it funny that people think marvel cares what its fans think.....the had doc ock in spiderman's body for a year....if you hate red costumes you think marvel gives a shit that you hate them?

I can't wait for this! I wish it was biweekly. I like how Sue and Ben have their own look, but I think its odd that Reed and Johnny have the same outfit. They should have made Reed's outfit mostly red and Johnny's mostly black or something so all four would look uniform AND unique.

This is looking great though and from the preview pages available it appears to have some of that Waid/Weiringo zing to it; definitely can't wait to give it a go. And hey, it can't be much worse that Fraction's hacky treatment of the Fantastic Four (the FF title was a much better fit for him IMO).

@teerack: Reed was thought dead as well when Doom transported him to an alternate universe. Ben is the actual only member to truly die, they had to rescue him from heaven and persuade the TOAA.

@maccyd: Hell yes, how'd I forget that! Jack Kirby as God was an awesome moment!

Seconded, the black and white costumes were fine because they symbolised adventurous explorers that the FF are. This just seems too edgy which goes with the solicits released thus far for this series. I still hope Robinson amazes me though.

Other characters dying don't count... so no "but still" for you. v_v
