@mercy_: Careful they may be the exception not the rule.
I still don,t understand why diana would date a male she grew up in an all female socicity.

I like this romance. They have a lot in common, they are both seen as powerful Gods but just like to help and want to live among us. Some people say this relationship is rushed but by today's standards its not, have you ever been to a bar? Nuff said. They bonded as heroes and I hope we see Superman date more and then maybe 5 years down the Lane (pun intended) we get to see Lois and Clark, but honestly I wouldnt care if they never do.
I am interested in the stories, but AM concerned that titles like Blue Beetle and Firestorm get cancelled and another Superman book pops up. With Marvel there are too many Avengers titles now and at DC too many Bat and Supermanbooks. I want some more variety!
I have to admit, while I always thought these two would be good together, so far it has been kind of boring. I thought the pairing would make each other become stronger characters but when their together it weakens their impact in the story.
So I would like to see how they interact in each others worlds, Superman meeting actual Gods and Demigods, while putting Wonder Woman against the larger the life foes that Superman has to face
Would be nice to see Lex vs Wonder Woman in a battle of wits, or Superman racing Hermes
But let's hope it is not another Superman/Batman book..like let's NOT see Batman in it....at all
A Trinity book would've been much better.
Why so much hate for this book? I really don't understand why everyone doesn't like Superman and WonderWoman together. I may not be that big into DC or Superman or WonderWoman but I did read the issue where they talk and have that flying kiss. It was sweet and actually kind of made sense. I get it that people want Clark and Lois together and to be fair I thought that too but after reading JL 12, I'm actually intrigued by this and want to see how it turns out.
I have a proposal to everyone: Relax. Chill out for a sec. Buy the first issue or even the first 3 issues and try it out. If you don't like it, drop it.
^Personally I think that Frank Miller said it best. (minute 5:40).
I think we get so bogged down by "Oh this was canon" and "Oh but its how its always been" and we are so damn quick to dismiss that we lose sight of the goal. The goal is to entertain and the goal of The New 52 was to bring in new readers and tell stories that were fun, different, and exciting. We all grew up with Lois and Clark and we always knew that was the ultimate comic book couple next to MJ and Peter Parker. I say lets see this through. Lets have some fun and see if Superman/Clark Kent can fall in love with someone else for once. Even Peter had a Gwen, a Carlie, a Felicia, and now its time for Clark to have that string of lovers. Maybe down the road Diana and Clark will break up and fall out of love and thats when Clark and Lois come up again.
So lets cool our jets. Lets sit and watch and read and figure out what DC has planned. If you go in expecting it to suck, its going to suck. Just try to have an open mind and just try to enjoy it. If you aren't capable, don't buy it and please don't bash people that will enjoy it. Also, don't threaten the writer and artist because you don't like it. Just sit back and let the numbers run and let the creative team do their job.
I love Superman and Wonder Woman but having said that, Frank Miller is wrong and his answer gives a glimpse into his perverted mind. Not everything is about sex especially when it comes to Superman and superheroes in general. Superman and Lois work because they are "kindred spirits" -Scott Snyder, and in a way so is Superman and Wonder Woman, you don't marry someone because there good in the sack, that alone will only work for so long until it's no longer enough ... you need love and a connection like the one Superman has to both Lois Lane and Wonder Woman in their own way.
we had lois and clark for 75 years its about time superman men someone else....the most powerful man in the world 1 woman for 75 years ........boring ...youre right its a classic love ,kindred spirits and all that cool but boring ...lois and clark ....weve seen it all before ...wonderwoman and clark ....new and exiting .....now how about lois and wonderwoman hook up ...now that would be something!

If people want a new love interest for Clark that's fine. However, it shouldn't be at expense of another character, on the likes of Wonder Woman. If people can't see why making DC's number 1 independent female icon, tied with another hero is bad thing. Then, I feel bad for this generation of comics.

Well the overall excepted idea is that people are pretty much born with their sexual orientation. If someone is born gay then the reverse is also true; so Diana growing up on Paradise Island would have zero effect on her sexual orientation.
@hollowprince65: I hate the pairing and not because I'm a fan of Lois Lane I totally get where miller is coming from and I agree if I can pick up a building with little effort why the hell would I be with miss plain jane and have to save her all the time. I just find their coupling to be undermining to everything WW stand for.
@blkson: Y-you...pervert!"
