Virginia's repeating words again.... the shock must have caused her to malfunction again, which can't end well.

Tom King tweeted, "I think this is the best issue of Vision I've written. I think." That gets me excited and extremely worried at the same time.

This is one of, if not the, best thing ANY publisher is putting out right now.

I think that's an extreme hyperbole, especially for a main stream super hero book this dark and morally askew

(not that I have any issues with Tom King, he's amazing)

I don't think it's one single bit of hyperbole. But hey, just my opinion, that is shared with whole bunch of other people that have read it. I've said it before, but I'll be extremely shocked, not to mention disappointed, if this series doesn't rack up awards next year.

This is a really amazing series. My only real gripe is I always thought of Vision as a cat person...

@captainhoopla: Oh I'm fine with opinions, I'm just saying objectively as a mainstream Marvel book about a super hero, there are expectations and guidelines for how the story should be judged. That's why Superman breaking Zod's neck makes Man of Steel go from being a really bad film, to down right insulting. This book get's way too dark and way too amoral for a series about a super hero.

Granted even if a story is dark, there can still be circumstances where it's not written in such a cynical way, like in Tom King's other ongoing series Batman, where the new heroes Bruce befriended are still good and well meaning, and he wants to do what's right and trust them, it's just that outside forces skewed those intents. It may be another dark Batman story (which I'm sick of, but that's another rant all together) but at least the story has a moral through line of likable characters, and in some ways an underlying optimism. This series on the other hand is about characters who really don't show strong or well meaning moral stances (except maybe the daughter who seems cool).
