I like what Percy did to introduce Arrows existing supporting cast to all the new readers, but I wonder how many will show up looking for Diggle and Felicity.

I really hoping it doesn't sell out before I get to my comic shop, I should have added it to my pulls.

Looks good. I'm excited to read this. Cool to see Henry and Emiko back in the mix.

Man one would have hoped they would have used Rebirth's new costume designs as a way to ditch Black Canary's fishnets.

Kinda wonder why this book isn't called Black Canary and Green Arrow or The Black & The Green! Damn this two week schedule.

I love the fishnets. Much like Superman's cape and trunks, no they aren't logical, but they're important to the iconography of the character. That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to Dinah wearing pants if all the past designs weren't so ghastly.

Emiko looks too old, she should be at least Damian's age, but everything else looks good

@koriny: I noticed the that too. This kinda confirms what suspected last issue, they've aged Green Arrow up. And apparently Emi as well.

I know right? She's aged a good six years since she's been introduced

Percy said this first story might as well be called Green Arrow and Black Canary, but moving on it'll probably have a rotating cast

True. But, sadly, the fishnets have moved beyond the realm of fan obsession to fan fetish and the creators apparently feel obligated to feed the beast. The thing is, even without the fishnets, BC's "costume" here would still be pretty awful. Booty shorts and unlaced work boots? Really?

If the fishnets are really so vital to the character that she can't do without them, then just put her back in her original costume. It's an anachronism but it's a nice visual design and the only one where the fishnets came anywhere close to making any actual design sense (in large part because the design is so old-fashioned). Every subsequent attempt to incorporate the fishnets into a "modern" design has come off looking like a Frankenstein-ish mishmash.

Glad to see Emi in the book, she is a fun new character.

Honestly, fishnets are like typical fashion wear these days, so Canary rocking fishnets isn't as much of a problem now as some people may have thought it was 10 or so years ago.

That's not even remotely true. And even if it were, it still wouldn't be an argument for them being part of action-ready superhero outfits. Flip-flops are "typical fashion wear" but you don't see Aquaman wearing them.

I really enjoyed the rebirth issue. Can't wait to pick this up.... Art and colours are great!

I want them to bring back George. And Percy already said that no characters from Arrow would be in this.

Those dudes on the cover that Green Arrow is fighting - the ones with the hockey masks - could they hint at the appearance of Wild Dog?

Emiko is Shado's daughter. Shado looked similar during Lemire's run.

And you're more likely to see Diggle, since even Lemire had a solid place and characterization for him. Not in this arc though. Everyone is peeing their pants over Black Canary being back, so they'll likely try to minimize any sharing of the partner spotlight as much as they can.

You probably won't see Felicity for a long, long time though.

Superhero outfits. Exactly. Superheroes aren't real. They're not even always logical. They're just fishnets, my dude. Maybe she just happens to like wearing them.
