I kinda thought Bucky had fallen off the face of the planet with his new job?

They don't pay any attention to what's happening in other titles...

Well who knows when this took place. Bucky's hair is short. He could have just taken over the man on the wall job. He had short hair when he first took over in who killed the watcher, and he had long hair in that same issue when time passed.

I'd like to imagine that this issue took place before he left Earth, maybe he hasn't even recruited Daisy Johnson yet either.

His hair is also short in the Invaders, so I like to imagine that took place before as well.

I would like to imagine that, too, but I've seen too much from Marvel to think they care anything about continuity, anymore... :(

Also Nat shouldn't be able to remember that her and Bucky had a relationship.

Does she remember? She didn't seem to in the last issue they were in together...

Well the way they are talking it kinda seems that she does.

She doesn't remember their relationship. She just remembers what files SHIELD has on Bucky except anything about them.

Hmmm. Maybe something's coming back?

@bl00dwerk: He's helped her in 3 different issues now. The first time he helped her, she said she read his SHIELD files and pretty much down the line she's a fan of his works and abilities. After he helped her, she commented that the legends were true of his skills.

So her memory is still screwed up.

@outside_85: It was a weekend job for Fury. Also, I lasted to #8 of Bucky Barnes: the winter soldier (with effort) and decided that some guy stole Bucky's name, 'ause that's just not him at all. At leasat he stole that guy's sweet ship in return, lol.

@slimj87d: She called him Bucky. That's pretty much a flag saying she doesn't remember, because she never called him Bucky. At least she's not calling him Barnes, anymore. That looked like it hurt.

@errantknight: she already said that she read up on him. She doesn't have any memory of their relationship.

Read the issues, throughout Bucky is even hesitant to complete some of his sentences, even in this preview.

@slimj87d: I don't believe that she knows. If she did, she might keep her distance, but she'd never say something like 'Spit it out, Barnes.' when he seemed to want to say something to her. She's insular and sometimes aloof, not cruel.

@errantknight: I think I misread your first message. You are right about her calling him Bucky since she's always called him James.
