Is that an alternate universe version of Storm or is it the 616 version with a make over? Also, is Jubilee still a Vampire and where the heck is X23?
In Avengers Arena, killing her friends.
No. She's not.
Tell that to Hazmat.
Have you even read the last issue? I'm really asking because Hazmat is alive and well and it's because she's not the one stalking the group. That is who X-23 is after and who she intends to capture. She's not hunting her friends to kill them, your statements are confusing and completely untrue. At least up to this point in AA's story.
@akbogert:
Yeah, I thought that was a little weird, but so long as it's treated well I guess it doesn't matter. I'm not so sure showing characters -- female or otherwise -- feeding "basic human urges" is necessarily praiseworthy, but to the extent that it's treated as an equality thing and not as an excuse for lots of random sex, I'm down.
Exactly right. I am all for a great stories and it seems like it's going to be pursued here. Call it a reflex on my part -- when those words are put together in terms of female comic characters, it usually doesn't turn out quite the way I would hope. Your description is precisely what I will hope for/anticipate.
@White Mage
The reason why that doesn't really concern me is because, if Wood has shown my anything, it's that he knows how to write multi-level drama.
Okay, true, lol. If I really, really dig deep into why those words sent a little trickle of unease through me it's because of **ahem** the horror that was Rogneto. (Just saying that made me taste bile)
And hey -- doesn't Storm look gorgeous? I love her in this and it's about time. To me, that's the classic X-Men way, Storm in a position of leadership.
