DC Comics July 2015 Theme Month Variant Covers Revealed - Teen Titans Go

Another themed variant month is heading our way in July. June was Joker month and after that, comes variant covers from the world of Teen Titans Go!

DC has given us the exclusive reveal for the variants to BATMAN/SUPERMAN #22, CATWOMAN #42, SUPERMAN #42, and JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #2.

So much awesome. Here's my opinon on some key covers

Teen Titans- I really like how Raven looks in that style, looks very punk IMO.

Action Comics- They saw the success of the Bill and Ted variant and brought him back for this one. Doomsday knows they're not as good as the movie variant though.

Superman- Love that cover. Glad to see MOS and T-Shirt style get some love

Batman/Superman- Obvious reference to the upcoming movie. DC said there is a comic they are making for the upcoming movie, so they plan on milking that. IMO they do it better than Marvel, whereas Marvel forces it into their unverses, DC just makes companion comics.

Superman/Wonder WOman- It's cute, but I'll agree that the JL one is more romantic.

Complaints- Sometimes it feels like they are forcing the TTGO characters a bit much, the JLA one is prime example. I don't get why they didn't just get the TTGO guys to do all the covers, some of them look way too different and it's like they were just given the order to draw them cartoony.

Conclusion- While the movie variant cover is going to be hard to top, this was a nice little follow up. I won't object to getting any of them put in my pull file.

Some are good and are ok. I feel that Teen Titans was the funniest one but Catwoman is the worst cover.

Batman/Superman and JLA are also pretty cool. Starfire really sells it for the latter.

i liked the superman closet one, and they're were 2 batman covers i thought looked neat as well. the rest were blahhh

A lot of the ones I liked have already been mentioned, but I love that Batman and Robin cover. Did a double-take when I saw the top of Chris O'Donnell's head, lol.
