International Trailer for 'Captain America: Civil War' Gets More Into the Story

At the end of November, we got to finally see the Captain America: Civil War trailer, which had the Internet going crazy. Now, an international trailer was released which gives a bit more of the story aware for the third installment in the Captain America film series. Check out the trailer for yourself, along with Tony Stark's black eye.

Captain America: Civil War comes to theaters on May 6, 2016.

I rooted for Cap's side in the comics. I hope I'm wrong, but SOME of this at least, seems like a significant part of the story is him aiding and abetting a fugitive. If this is mostly about the registration thing, then I'll be on the same side again (and it's probably why Hawkeye is on his side ...because of his family and all), but if it's mostly because of him trying to help Buckey, not gonna be able to get on board with him this time. We'll see. But on the OTHER hand, the whole: "He's my friend".."So was I"...Buckey didn't voluntarily unleash a world threatening AI/robot on the world "for the greater good" and not tell anyone he was doing it. Just sayin...:) EDITED

Hmm... still more excited for BvS.

that's probably why ironman is taking some responsibility finally. But he didn't even seem that upset about the ultron thing at the end of the movie.

i'm actually leaning toward Tony's side here. Ross makes a good point. every time someone like SHIELD gets involved and tries to bring in the slightest bit of order, the heroes just tell them to "f*ck off"

This is barely different. It has one extra line of dialogue.

I'm not going to lie, I really don't understand the plot. Wasn't Cap always basically a government agent? Plus there's like no one with a secret identity in this universe. So basically Cap is just doing this because Bucky's his best friend. Eh...

At this point I'd pay to see hobos beating up Robert Downey Jr...so yeah Team Cap.

I wonder why they changed things instead of having just one trailer for the entire world. All they did was remove the clip of Tony getting owned by Cap and WS from what I saw.

@child_of_the_past: Hard to right now, but my gut is always gonna go with Captain America, until I have compelling evidence not to. He's straining that from the trailers though...lol

You know when I watch this again after I watched the X-men trailer this trailer doesn't seem cool anymore. :-(

@anabolic_steroid: Since when? The last good DC film was the Dark Knight Rises. They have continually failed to sell or make good films out of several of their characters whereas Marvel made a movie about Ant Man and it made almost as much as DC's most popular hero Superman and it was better recieved. I prefer DC comics, but they are sucking in film department as of now.

How is it that they are vigilantes? Dont all heroes (except for Ant-man) in the MCU work for/with SHIELD?

shield was compromised though, so good thing Cap did tell them to eff off...

What happens if one of the families of there victims wants then in jail ?

I guess because they are avengers they are Ubermenschen and special, so they are out of luck.

I really expected a more epic trailer than this. I hope the next version is much different.

@catty_spider1: She struck a plea bargain I assume, with shield. She outed herself and she knew she could wind up in a lot of trouble when she revealed all that info in winter soldier. They touched up on that. That's probably why she's on iron-man side, because she can't bail on the government at this point. I think she has a fall out with Cap in this and he asks her if she's going to arrest him in that trailer.

That's actually a good example you brought up where her actions made her "not" so special and she is on shields side.

Only things i noticed different here is tony has a black eye... didnt notice that prior, was there also an extra action scene with black panther ? And as someone above said, they cut the end scene where cap and winter soldier are beating his ass.

What else is different here?

The best part of the trailer was the ending fight between Bucky and Cap V Iron Man, and they cut that part out

More plot details, less Black Panther in this one.

That's the beauty of it. Throughout the Captain America Trilogy, Steve went from a loyal Government Agent to someone who learnt that putting all your faith into the Government only ever ended badly (Hydra in SHIELD etc.)

Whereas Tony went from the lone wolf, who never relied or trusted the Government to the one siding with them over the course of his Trilogy because he saw how destructive Superheroes were (Sokovia).

They're essentially choosing their sides based on the experiences of their own lives, Steve learning that it's better not to be held back by potentially corrupt Governments, and Tony seeing that the only way to truly be a hero is to take the accountability, seeing as how unrestrained heroes often made bad choices and need to be overseen.
