Profile Pictures/Avatars have become extremely small

The size of avatars shrunk noticeably for everyone on the site a day or two ago. They are now incredibly small and I hope that this will be resolved soon.

I'm wondering if this was an intentional stylistic choice or an actual bug.

Either way I hate it.

I can barely make out avatars half the time.

Do hope they fix that soon. They should have made them bigger, not smaller.

@the_kidd: @supermanthor: @magian: @jedixman: @quintus_knightfall: @heatblaze: @higherpower: I believe it's a bug since several avatars don't actually fit the borders they've been given as you can occassionally see the black borders that are normally hidden.

Why this has occured I don't know. I'm just not expecting a fix anytime soon.

Even if this is on propose, I still don't like it. It's too small to read and just looks too small in comparison to what we had before. Not a fan.

The avatars is half the fun of this site with how users interact with each other over them. I would like to think it's a buy as many have pointed out, but I believe it's quite intentional. Notice how the avatars now take a new shape and the corners are more rounded and the left and right side of the avatar has curves. This looks like an intentional design choice.

I hope enough people complain and make it vocal to the mods so they will take notice and revert it back to the old style.

I actually would not mind that at all. This site does a really good job with how it sizes its Avatars and might be something worth the CV team to look into. https://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=239676 It allows for tall or wide avatars based on the photo. I personally just want my large avatars back :P I already got a new one lined up for EndGame :)

I really hope we get a fix for this soon. This is horrible.

An absolutely pointless and unbeneficial change to the site, CV's slowly deteriorating day by day.
