Why do we know destroying Monarch's armor will destroy a universe? I assume this happened at sometime.

Superboy Prime ripped him open in countdown. It's not clear whether it destroyed the universe (Earth 51) or just all life in it, but either way Zoom ain't surviving it.

I feel you, but personality-wise, Captain Atom made a lot of sense. Monarch isn't bad. It's just that DC showcased him for power and nothing else.

Your Zoom is a scientist who has only beaten the Flash and died because he got shot. The Zoom I read about...well he's none of those things.

The first part of your post means nothing right now. I've addressed it in other threads. And, how is it stupid to think he can take someone on Superman's level when he's done it before? Do you even know how he's able to hurt people on Superman's level? He's throwing punches faster than the speed of light.
