Who will prevail, raw size skill and speed, or axe-hacking skills?

Fighters consists of only MMA champions. It will consist of 6 rounds.

Most of these fighters are total experts who knows Muay Thai, Judo, and Jiu Jitsu.

You are armed with an very sharp axe who can cut through woods like paper.

You are blood-lusted and with intent to kill, but so are fighters. But they are unarmed and will have to fight you barehanded.

Round one: You with an axe Vs. One fighter, one at a time. You will heal between rounds. In an gladiator arena

Round two: You with an axe Vs. All fighters coming at the same time, sanctioned UFC Octagon match.

Round three: A bloodlusted street fight between you with the axe vs fighters in Central Park.

The fighters: GSP, Jon Jones, Aldo, Lidell, Khabib, Tyron Woodley, Ngannou, Ciryl Gane, Mike Tyson, Ali, Bruce, Conor McGregor and Anderson Silva, Rampage Jackson and Fedor

Who wins. All fighters will be in their prime.

If I get close to them HWs, means I can get hit by they massive impact as well. I don't perform in fights like them, I'm slow, routinely gas out and I'm not outgrappling people bigger than me. I die for the heavyweights, but whoever here is under heavyweight I'd murder with a axe.

I am a tall guy 6ft 1 inches, relatively strong upper body strength weighing 186 I would make it far round 1, if I get disarmed by the heavyweights I lose, would get put down in rounds 2 and 3

You’ll be lucky to get past one. You’ll have to be skilled with an axe and not just go in swinging Willy nilly.

Second round is unwinnable

size alone doesnt win fights, strongmen and other big dudes have trained for mma or boxing fights only to get punked by people half their size. Now a combination of size, speed and explosive power is a whole different deal (think lesnar) I do believe most of these fighters can evade average viner with an axe.

I dismember bruce lee, gregor kicks me. I feel stunned. I go with an axe at him and cripples him with a blow. Before i do the second jose aldo comes in and flying kick bejesus outta me. I fall on the floor but still grippin the axe. I give him a axe on the shoulder, such impact was so tremendously strong it stuck the axe on his shoulder. weaponless, fedor rampage smashes me as I get ganged mercilessly on the floor then die.

rounds 2 and 3 are a massive stomp for the team

round 1 i'd get stomped, even if i wasn't mildly overweight i have no training whatsoever, I have confidence anybody listed here could deflect / take a single axe hit while they kill me with their other hand

Round 1: 9.5/10 any of the fighters, unless i somehow get a lucky shot

Round 2: 10/10 fighters

Round 3: 10/10 fighters

Really only the first round is semi debatable. I have absolutely no skill with anything really. Much less an axe. I get easily outmaneuvered and fodderized.

Iv been a tradesman now for years, raised in the Caribbean. I know I can swing shit really hard and really fast with good accuracy. I am gonna connect with that axe on a lot of these guys but sure theres a chance one of them could rush and knock me out, or disarm, their still human tho, you gotta have nerves of steel to charge relatively tall guy with an axe.

I was thinking "I can at least go through two or three with an axe" but I snapped out of that pretty fast. I'm a stubborn guy really but I am open minded. Prime Silva and GSP would have the reflexes to blitz me, the chances of them dodging my axe hits are way higher than me hitting them. Jones and Gregor could probably hammer my legs and make me drop the axe. I'm an amateur kickboxer with years of experience, but no chance with all these guys here, haha. There is an margin between "amateur" and "professional".

If I went really crazy as in out of my sanity and insane mental state (with a axe) really prone to go and murder another human being... maybe the middleweights, I exercise everyday and ain't no couch potato. But the heavyweights for sure no, they are just scary, I'd not go through these guys here. Didn't Rampage got involved in a pride backstage fight back then and took four men to subdue it. Lol. Dude is a beast

@lacucaracha: You wouldn't get on Lee because he was so fast... and there would be several other fighters on your ass.

On the flip side of this argument, I went to a Wing Chun school that my Godson was attending and a discussion of MMA came up. The instruction was all about saying that the fights take too long. A real Wing Chun or Kung Fu fighter in the cage would end a fight in seconds not minutes and that you only need to know Kung Fu to fight.

Meanwhile he also had posters on the wall of Bruce Lee whom this school obviously idolized. I pointed and said that that's basically the anathema to what Bruce Lee taught. He incorporated many different techniques from different martial arts and fighting styles to create Jeet Kune Do.

His was response was "Yeah, but his main style is Wing Chun and that's all you need."

I'm not sure anyone here is realizing what an axe even is. Untrained peasants can and have cleaned knights with an axe.

Shit, a hatchet is enough in most cases. Enter the tomahawk.

Even if you completely underestimated yourself and the amount of damage an axe causes to literally anyone, and also have the dexterity and coordination of a house plant, AND swung the axe BACKWARDS, I'd still be very impressed if an adult actually lost to anyone unarmed as long as they were willing to attack and didn't just...not swing.

Even your sloppiest, most embarassing swings will disable limbs with even a glancing blow. You ever bang your shin? Now try that with a sharpened sledgehammer. You can win literally just by blocking with it, and with half the effort of blocking with hands.

R1 is basically free. You can reliably one shot incap before they can even reach you. Ffs, YouTube knife defense specialists against knives (they use markers to show where they hit). 5 professionals die 4x each with a 0% win rate. And, again, they trained precisely in defending against exactly this

They never stood a chance. That's what weapons do. You don't just beat a weapon with your hands lol not without a miracle

But I don't see anyone taking R2 at all. R3 isn't even worth discussing.Trained fighters aren't gonna line up for you. They will jump your ass immediately and there's little you can really do. Once you're surrounded it's over.

Biggest danger of taking a weapon into a fight, is the possibility of that weapon being taken from you and used against you.

I hope everyone in this thread has a strong grip on that axe.

Just because axe is a phenomonal weapon doesn't mean that you can oneshot real life peak humans. Yes, you will hurt them, but anyone versed in different fighting styles will either be able to block, or avoid that axe strike and take you down, and from there, it is over.

@thelocust619: Few things. One, this is a wood axe. The weight distribution is NOT the same as an actual battle axe or tomohawk, even a Hatchet would be better.

Peasant doesn’t necessarily mean untrained, and usually when knights were defeated by peasants, it’s due to being outnumbered, ambushed, or fatigue.

Knife defense testing is not a good indicator for this, since a wood axe is much slower, more fatiguing, and harder to recover from. Furthermore the knife demonstrator knows they aren’t going to be harmed and are free to come in as aggressively and wildly as they feel like, whereas the defender is always more limited in what they can actually do without harming the knife attacker.

I think most people will panic and misjudge distance with their swings.

Also, consider that there’s an entire gladiatorial arena in round 1. The UFC fighter could probably just avoid you until you’re tired.
