It really depends on the location and the distance in between(also depends a on a persons size and strength )

either way with reasonable distance and area for me

maybe 3-ish 4 -ish-5 ish depending on various outcomes

But realistically none of them have the combat speed to compete my fights with flash show I'm FTL in combat

4-6 are stupid hard/ impossible, n the rest are cakewalks. Why is a Wolverine/revolver round 7? Like really? Not the basically impossible grizzly match?

N what's with the pit bull wanking? I have five dogs (four now...im still not ready to say so :( n I promise, pit bulls are not the instant death you think they are. I mean do you guys know how long n heavy a bowie knife is? If it bites you anywhere other than the hand holding the knife, its dead. Unless you're worthless

And the people saying the mountain lion is being underrated (it is, I won't lie) are underrating the OP spear. It is THE weapon of choice.

I will say everyone depending on adrenaline would probably die. You want to be calm and focused

@brainstorm01: you are not killing a blood lusted chimpanzee, gorilla, or grizzly with a rapier, broadsword, or handgun. All three of these animals can completely ignore your weapons while blood lusted and will just trample you for even trying. Strength and skill are irrelevant, not that I'm implying someone who thinks a rapier vs a pissed chimpanzee is remotely doable has any sort of capacity for actual skill lol

5...How am I supposed to beat a Gorilla with a broadsword? I'd rather have the spear...

6... Bullets are known to be unable to stop a grizzly... Can't I just get the spear?

and 7... Current Wolverine is easier to kill than 5 and 6... Unless we are using the animal "Wolverine" Which is also easier...

Definitely do not pass round 3, in fact no one does really. A chimp is not only faster, but stronger and has quite a lot of bite force. They could literally pummel me to death in short order if bloodlusted. As for the dog, you attack with a strategy of covering your neck with your non-dominant arm since they go for throat rips often. After the dog locks down on your arm you use the adrenaline rush to plunge the bowie knife deep into it's rib cage or right behind the base of the skull.

I am confident that I could lift a mace and wield it effectively with one arm so I would use the same strategy for round one, but rely on a single focused bone-crushing blow. But yeah, round three comes and you get your arms torn off UNLESS you can funnel the chimp into an area that makes it have to get past your rapier. Fun fact: Chimps like to rip off your genitals too.

Edit: I'm 6'10 and weigh 270 pounds. Athletic from playing multiple sports all my life.

@profz: I think you mean round 4, and it is doable but its more of a measure of immense luck really since you only get one chance to kill it and if you don't then well, good luck.

Round 5 is impossible NO ONE short of a street leveler can do this.

Round 6 is easier if you clear it once though.

@potato: True, and well actually Round 3 would be pretty freaking hard as well. Mountain Lions have the perfect weapons to kill you. They are VERY quick, powerful, and all they would have to do is get within close range to render your spear completely useless. Also you have to take in the fact that a Mountain Lion attacks from stealth in an ambush fashion. Your spear isn't going to help you when the lion pounces on you from behind and bites through your spine...

But in the lucky likelihood that you pass round 3, round 4 will literally be over quite quickly. Like I said before, the only chance you have is if you can funnel the Chimp into a narrow hallway where they HAVE to get past your rapier. (Also that is assuming you get a one hit kill thrust with no formal weapons training.)

Round 3 isn't really that hard, and getting in close does NOT render a spear useless... It only hinders it. Also, the lion stalking and then ambushing is NOT possible since they are bloodlusted.

That I agree with, it's either you die in 5 seconds in round 4 or the chimp dies with one hit.

What use is being a martial artist, when you're fighting wild animals.

I think I stop at the mountain lion, they have knife claws, and as a spear is more long range, the closer it gets the harder it is to fight.

At best I stop at the Gorilla, as I am not Tarzan.

@potato: Harder to fight? Have you ever seen a full grown mountain lion in real life? If that thing gets within 5 feet of you, you are dead...especially if it is bloodlusted. A cougar can jump 18 ft high and jump 40-45 ft horizontally. Unless you use that spear in a way that catches it in the air, you are toast. What are you going to do if it gets within range of the spear? If you manage to jam the handle in the cougars mouth you still have to worry about immensely sharp claws on both it's front and back paws. Disembowelment would not be fun.

Yeah, there really needs to be better/different weapons for rounds 4, 5, and 6.

A mace or Morningstar absolutely destroys any animal on this list with one shot (depending on the site if impact). Only the Grizzly or Gorilla would have a chance to survive and receive a second hit where they would certainly die. Any dog gets their head completely caved in with one swing.

@profz: Yep, I have. What's your point? That you place scenarios that assume the human doesn't know how to fight? That that human has never gone hunting before and that that human is going to let a Mountain Lion just close in the gap when he has a spear?

And guess what, if a 61 year old man can kill a cougar with a pocket knife. I'm pretty damn well sure I can take a Lion with a spear.

Seriously a blood lusted Rottweiler is a major threat, so IMO nobody gets past round one...

if i can train as i did when i was a fighter then i clear, the best weapon is my brain and with the knives, swords, etc. i can outmatch the animal, hell even against a cougar you can win without weapons if you tear his eyes. the real problem is the bear but as i said only i need to make a good strategy using the enviroment. animals PD: the chimpanzee are no match for us if they killed people in the past is because they attacked them in a very large group and the person was scared.

This is bullshit gauntlet. All what you need to do to point with the weapon in the direction of your opponent and wait until he gets to you.

Maybe if you would give knife for lesser animals and spear for biggers then it could be match.

A strong, athletic male can probably clear the pit bull. However almost no one will make it past the mountain lion.

I can beat the wolverine with a revolver, but I die at about three of the rounds in between.

Not as bad as you think I actually kicked the hell out of bug pitbull that was about to chase me, it turned tail(guess because i hit the nose).

But I stop at round 3, No way in hell am I gonna win vs a mountain lion.
