I find Jensaarai1's perspective often interesting but it's a shame when it's obviously swayed with bias.

I agree with our Lord & Saviour Jensaarai, Vader godstomps. Absolutely no contest... Yoda's a midget and has never shown any feats possible of what Vader's possible of.

Darth Vader is a badass, but Yoda would stomp him.

Yoda wins solidly, but it's not a stomp. Not when Vader as of ANH was above his Mustafar iteration, who isn't that that far below KF Vader, a.k.a the guy who is comparable to Sidious himself. And this was before growing "ever stronger" over the next four years. Not when he is above Dooku, who Yoda was outright stated as unable to stomp with the Force.

@lordofthelight: Dooku and Vader aren't the same type of combatants and the way Dooku fights is generally more well-suited to combat Yoda.

Additionally, I don't think Yoda can stomp Vader(much like how I don't think he can stomp Dooku) in the Force, but a considerable gap exists.

Djem So is a more aggressive form than Ataru though. And given that Ataru relies on offense and has the weakest defense of all the forms, a generic Ataru user would be pressed on to the defensive from the very onset simply due to the fact that it wouldn't be aggressive enough. And from there, it would be at a disadvantage, because of its weak defensive focus.

So, I do see an inherent form advantage for Vader though. Although, I guess you can argue that Vader's lack of mobility will hurt him here against someone like Yoda. However that shouldn't hamper him to such an extent, because Djem So actually places equal importance on defense as it does on offense.

I honestly feel Ataru isn't that great of a form though. It isn't aggressive enough( for a random generic person against a random generic person here) to cause serious trouble to a Soresu user or a Makashi user, it is actually at a disadvantage against more aggressive forms like Djem So, and Juyo. The only forms against which it might be effective would be Niman, or Shii Cho.

Anyways, Ataru with its emphasis on acrobatics, seems more like a form which you use to destroy armies, not confront force users.

So, yeah, I don't think Vader will be stomped in sabers at all. In fact, he could put up a semi-decent fight, maybe even better.

Doubt it tbh, the weakness of Djem so is a lack of agility, which is exactly what Ataru offers. And we visibly see examples of djem so's impaired ability with Anakin throughout TCW and then in ROTS vs Dooku
