Current canon Vader not holding back like against Luke would eventually overpower the grandmaster jedi.

Darth Vader 7/10 would be a phenomenal fight.

This would be a tough fight, but I would side with Yoda, as he was about equal with Palpatine in ROTS, and I don't think Vader ever surpassed ROTS Palpatine. ROTJ Palpatine losing to Luke, conflicted or not, doesn't give me much confidence in him beating Yoda either.

If it was just potential...he could have just brought up Leia Since she is a skywalker and has equally powerful potential as Luke. He specifically named dropped Vader because he is the most powerful sith.

in the new Canon Sidious Sees Vader has his suitable replacement in the dark side, and Snoke Stated Vader was the champion of the Darkside.

Like I said Vader is par with ROTJ Sidious. Yoda is only par with ROTS Sidious who is massively weaker.

It's a good fight all rounds and I believe its arguable, but it seems most people havent kept up with current canon and how Vader is shown to be and are basing this off Yoda vs Sidious.

Yoda wins 10/10 times, but it will be a challenging fight every time.

Not life threatening. But challenging.

Yoda takes the majority. This is not a good battle for Vader to be in.

Yoda with medium difficulty. Yoda in his prime versus a slightly past prime Vader is quite clear. RotS Yoda vs Rebels Vader would be closer but even then Yoda stills wins a majority.

As it stands, 8-9/10 wins for Yoda.

Vader is only 80% of Sidious iirc, whereas Yoda is equal to Sidious at his peak, Yoda takes all of these but not easily.
