Depends, is Jean Grey Phoenix?

If so, then X-men. If not, then Avengers. Though Mr. Fantastic has a week to prepare something. Iron Man, has 3 days. Plus Avengers have 2 class 100+ characters. The only in the whole battle.

Now, why does nobody, ever add Iceman to X-men team? Then it would be an interesting fight.

Jean Grey(Non-phoenix)-Invisible Woman- Captain America-Jean Grey

Hulk-Thing-Wolverine-Hulk(After K.O.-ing Wolverine, Thing is a toothpick for Hulk)

Iron Man-Cyclops-Human Torch-Iron Man

That leaves Thor, Jean Grey, hulk, And Iron Man. Jean Grey Is overwhelmed.

Reed solos with prep

Reed is a huge problem here.

Here's how I think it would go. First, Hulk would go straight for the Thing because those two are always trying to prove they are stronger. Then I think Captain America, Cyclops, and Mr. Fantastic would order the rest of their teams to attack a certain person. Storm and Thor would take to the sky and fight with weather. Iron Man and Human Torch would battle it out. Invisible Woman and Jean Grey would fight. That would just leave all of the leaders: Captain America, Mr. Fantastic, Cyclops, and Wolverine. I believe it would start with a optic blast right at Cap to start it out but he will block it with his shield. This would be a very hard match for the Avengers because I think both teams will be gunning for them since they have the strongest members. To be honest, as much as I want the Avengers to win, I think with Jean's mind powers and Wolverine's skill and durability, I think the X-Men win this. The Fantastic Four are completely outmatched here. And the Avengers will be taken out by double teaming or more likely Jean just mind attacks them.

Thor could solo everyone, same with hulk. Even if jean has pheonix. Pheonix Jean was killed by wolverine.
