Comics Thor should take it in my opinion. MCU Thor gets atomized.

There's no real point asking if MCU Thor will survive, he definitely doesn't and I really don't think anyone will say otherwise.

I don't think 616 Thor would survive either, I've never seen him tank a concentrated planet level energy attack. If he did survive I think it would be after massive bodily harm that would inflict agony and would kill any mortal, but he would probably survive and pull through due to Asgardian healing.

@alphaq: Lol what?? He took a Galaxy level attack, and MCU Thor withstood star level already. Comic Thor takes planet and above easily. MCU is debatable with the star feat. But comic Quite easily

Well even in his unworthy state he survived a bomb the size of a solar system. He survives this

Comic Thor survives if he uses Mjolnir to help deflect or absorb the blast. Otherwise I'd say its about 50/50. He has feats which suggest he could such as surviving blasts from Celestials and a blow from Surtur with Twilight. His higher feats say yes, his lower ones say no.

Which Thor took a galaxy level attack and when? MCU Thor withstood a beam made out of a dying, tiny neutron star for a short time before reaching the threshold for death. A beam like that is nowhere near planet busting, even a nuke can reach temperatures much hotter than a neutron star, albeit for an extremely small amount of time.

Please bare in mind that tanking a dispersed explosion is different to tanking a concentrated beam of energy.

It may knock out comicbook Thor but he'd survive.

616 survives. MCU is disintegrated immediately.

Isn't the Death Star planet-busting at most?

MCU Thor took a prolonged assault from a star...

Star > Planet

People are really taking Thor's "star" feat way out of proportion, clearly they don't understand it at all.

616 Mighty Thor tanks it and is hurt after, or possibly absorbs much of it with Mjolnir.

MCU characters seem weak compared to their 616 counterparts, so i dunno...
