That's a feat for Baldur.
I rememmber people working on God of War games stating that Atlas and Kronos have similar strength levels, so just plain strength wise IMO Kronos can take out Jormungandr, at that's just plain strength now add Titan powers of Kronos, like the lightning powers which he bestowed upon Kratos and etc...
@avengingknight: is that in game?

Fair Enough.
@avengingknight: completely forgot he did that. thats impressive by baldur. then im sure kronos should be able to take him
Not sure. Kronos should tear Jormungandr apart if he manages to lay his hands on him, but on the other hand Jormungandr should one-shot Kronos by bitting his head.

It's also said by Mimir himself that Thor and the World Serpent's battle during Ragnarok shook the Tree of Life.
The World Serpent absolutly rekt that undead Giant who is probably not super far off from Cronos in size, he also survived Thor who is depicted as a absolute monster.
That being said, Cronos at his peak (during the great titan war) should probably win.
Damn, this is a tough fight. Honestly, we’ll need to see more feats from the World Serpent in the coming sequels. But he can obviously be damaged pretty good. Because at the end of God of War (2018) Baldur seemed to have hurt the World Serpent pretty easily and he’s small and not even close to being the strongest Aesir, so i don’t think it’s too far fetched but to assume that Cronos could dish out some serious damage to the world Serpent. But, also, I feel like Baldur caught Jormangdr off guard so that also played a role in hurting him. Jormangdr is all super fast for how big he is.... seriously, something that big has no business being that damn fast lmao. But, if I have to pick a winner, I’m gonna have to give with win to Jormangdr, the World Serpent but it definitely wouldn’t be an easy fight.... Until we see more feats, I’m gonna say Jormangdr wins 6-7/10 fights for now....
@comicstomp: wrong, Baldur is one of the strongest aesir in God of War. Magni and Modi were both bigger than him, but he was still far stronger than either
Thamur seemed to be as big if not bigger than Cronos, and Jormungandr easily killed him, and the snake is way bigger than Cronos, not to mention, super fast, so I'd have to say the World Serpent.
Its kind of cool how Jormungandr is related to Cronos in God of War, or so it seems after Atreus is revealed to be Loki.
Cronos is too slow due to carrying the temple of pandora on his back so he likely cannot even tag jourmangdr plus if ares could take down cronos then so could the midguard serpent
Jourmadr got one hit ko'd by baldur. Who's pretty easily killed by a rusty kratos
Cronos not only keep up with a stronger kratos but should be able to hold up planet sized bodies given altas could do the same
Creators said that old kratos is stronger, but you're right on the rusty, another reason he seemed so weak is because he was less angry in the Norse version, while Greek version was just fueled with spartan rage.
gow3 kratos >>>>> Zeus >>>>>Rusty Kratos >>> Baldur
Bruno said zeus was stronger then baldur and high end feats were scrapped due to the narrative showcasing kratos got weaker.
Facts >>>>> The coomunity

So let me get this straight, Your going to take one statement which can be interpreted to mean norse kratos is weaker as the end all be all even though all other sources contradict the remark. Im feeling a bit of bias here
Kratos as a character no longer has the blade of olympus nor the various gear had from his older days such as the icarus wings but somehow he got stronger, Yea right. Whatever makes you sleep better at night ig
@bob74h: no, I'll just take the word of one of the writers more serious than the word of an animators is all. Kratos losing his gear didn't make him any weaker, he still has his same power from GOW 1-3. Gear is just equipment which doesn't equate to his power without gear in GOW 1-3. personally don't see how this would help anyone else sleep better but if you think it will do the trick then IG.
First part, Just nonsense. Counting one word over another is meaningless when both people are creatives on the series
it's not the losing his gear that makes him weaker, it's the fact that his gear amps his power more often then not eg the heracles gauntlets amp his strength
