World Breaker Hulk vs New 52-Superman

Rules

Both have standard Gear, WBH has a standard amount of comic power, Morals on, No BFR, Random encounter, both have some knowledge of each other, No aid from allies, or external resources. Battle takes place in Gotham City, 3:00 PM, almost no bystanders, fully interactive environment, battle may be taken else where, 1 km starting distance, Battle is won by Death, Incapacitation, Surrender, or K.O.

Superman is stronger, much faster, more durable, can fly, better range attacks, more experience, better perception and senses.

Is New-52 Superman stronger and more durable than WBH? I thought New-52 Superman was nerfed a bit. I always considered pre-New-52 Superman and Hulk in more or less the same strength/durability class, both with amp capabilities.

New 52 Superman has already benched planet sized weight for 5 days straight. He did not even find his upper limit and he was away from the sun while he was doing it. I dunno but to me this already makes him stronger than pre 52 Superman.

New 52 Superman has enough feats under his belt to defeat WBH its even arguable that new 52 is more powerful than pre flashpoint supes but like i said supes still and always will stomp banner

I saw some new-52 Superman feats such as the one you mentioned just today so I fully agree now that Hulk would lose once again to Superman.

This would be a lot closer than people think.

Strength and durability would be very comparable. Supes was able to bench the weight of earth for days, but WBHulk has already shattered a planet and presumably would have shattered earth if he wasn't stopped. Looking at the two feats, I think Supes is a more impressive display of stamina, but Hulk's is a more impressive display of power. For example, someone who can bench press 300lbs in iron weights, wouldn't be able to punch through a 300lb solid stone.

Not to mention WWHulk already beat Sentry, the Marvel version of Supes, and WBHulk is much, much more powerful. In a battle of raw brute force, I take WB here, but it wouldn't be a stomp either way.

No it was a combined effort.

And he died in the process, idk why ppl leave that part out all the time this feat gets brought up, no one survived the clash between hulk and red she hulk in the dark dimension this includes hulk, the reason he was still standing is due to the effects of the wishing well as well as why everyone else was still alive.

Correct, pre-flashpoint needed Wonder Woman and Martial Manhunter to help move the Earth while this Superman proved he could easily do it alone. New 52 is somwehere between Pre-Flashpoint and Silver Age in power.

I agree with Axe2k1, I think WB Hulk would win this although supes would put up a great fight

@BMEZY: Because, and I hate to sound like every other uber Hulk fanboy as Superman is my favorite superhero, but New 52 hasn't shown any of the other powers that would allow him to win. He hasn't shown being able to vibrate his molecules to pass through blows like pre-New 52 Supes could do or a number of other powers. Now take Hulk for instance. He's at his absolute strongest known level for this battle. He also still gets angrier the stronger he gets. This Hulk is also trained in gladiatorial combat and Superman would most likely be expecting a raging mindless beast not something that could fight intelligently. Hulk would overpower him in the long run. Until New 52 shows me some better feats though I'm going for Hulk. He's close to getting there with the Earth benching thing, but still.

@Smart_Dork_Dude: I'm not following you; what other abilities besides his flight, strength and speed will Superman need, here?? Can the Hulk not be bfr'ed? Is Superman too slow to evade and outmaneuver the hulk (in which he is literally x1000s faster than him)?? Their strength is comparable and relatively the same, with even superman showing to have the upper limit. Using a combination of flight and speed will also cause a grounded Hulk problems. What more does superman need, here??

I'm a superman fanatic and even I got to admit if you vote for superman in this fight you either don't like hulk don't know about his feats or you are 100% byast to supes. This hulk destroyed a freaking dimension, he was destroying the earth by walking, an average superman shouldn't be able to hurt him, not pre 52, an certainly not new 52.

The Hulk is my favourite character, I vote for him when I feel he can win. I vote for whoever I feel wins, that may not be the popular opinion but that not my business. Why would you think I don't vote for Marvel characters, if they're put in a situation where I don't think they can win it's not my fault, when I do feel they can win I vote for them.

I'm pretty sure this board dislikes Hulk to be honest. Because if Nu52 superman was pitched against other characters, I'm pretty much posters wouldn't be posting Superman's highest end feats.

I don't really see how Superman is suppose to harm Hulk at his most powerful state .
