Wonder Woman vs Spiderman (H2H)

Rules:

1. This is strictly H2H. No weapons.
2. Strength, speed and durability are equalized to Peter's level. All other stats/powers remain the same.
3. Standard versions of each character.
4. Win by KO.
5. In character but determined to win.
6. Takes place in a tournament setting with friends and family watching/cheering.

Here we go! Let me know if I left anything out.

With Spider sense: Spidey. Without: WW

Spider-Man's H2H is very mediocre. He has no impressive skills in this area. WW dominates him here.

Spider sense is what should make the difference here. Unless WW is as skilled as CAptain American in H2H, then even spider sense won't be enough.

Do you put Captain America's h2h skills above Wonder Woman?

she's fought blind before when she lost her sight. Idk if she has amazon super senses or if it's just her training.

Spider-Man has such unique fighting skills.

I don't see him beating her in hand to hand even with his Spidey sense. She can hang with Cap and Bruce.

She'll take him down. Spidey's fighting style is unique but WW is extremely skillful. She'll manage to counter him.

So... was this made just to create a reality in which Spider-Man beats Wonder Woman since he couldn't otherwise?

I am not sure Diana has a feasible way of dealing with precog. But even if Spiderman has his Spider Sense, he still needs to be quick enough to fair well with Diana.

WW should still beat him pretty handily. I don't think spider-sense is enough to close the gap in skill.

Peter is actually more skilled than Diana..

She has both the skills and experience in fighting, as she is the god of war.

I can show you more scans- of fighting Ares and giving him the slips- the former God of War. Or even Justice Leaguers or stuff.

Diana would beat him. Better training, more experienced. I don't think Peter would be able to throw her off with his fighting style. She's too disciplined.

@shiryu: Off the top of my head, Cosmic Spiderman would dominate Wonder Woman. I'm sure there are other scenarios where Peter could beat Diana. However I'm not sure if this is one of them.

If Peter has his precog I believe he could win. Otherwise I would have to give it to Diana.

I don't agree assuming we are talking about martial arts skill. Wonder womans problem normally is that she doesn't have a lot of feats while depowered. The same can be said about Peter. Wonder woman does have a fair amount of implied skill and has some feats while depowered:

What the heck is a Cosmic Spider-Man?

@juiceboks: He isn't. WW is an amazonian, a tribe who teaches H2H, comparable to gods, very early in women's lives. WW is also blessed by multiple gods, made by clay to be perfect, and is the goddess of war. Peter on the other hand may have impressive abilities, but wasn't trained as hard for H2H, and has little skill in it.

I'm guessing uni-powered spider-man. Not sure if he has the feats to beat wonder woman though.

a) This is saying there aren't versions of Spider-Man that can hang with that, and there are. (Cosmic, Phoenix, Ghost Spider)

b) That she hadn't gotten a big power upgrade in the 80s. (When she and Spider-Man were both solid middle of the road characters.)

Jokes aside, I'd side with WW in H2H. Skill-wise, she's good enough to hang with some of the best.

What's the purpose of making this thread if their stats were equalized?

You know, when I made a joke(which some other guy took it seriously like an idiot) that Spiderman beats WW I never imagined it would come to this. Anywat I give it to Pete because of the ever-omnipotent Spider-Sense(I hope everyone gets the joke this time).

Wonder Woman is a much better fighter than most people on DC Earth, including Batman, Wildcat, Deathstroke, etc...

She's out of Spiderman's league.

Spider-Man wins due to spider sense.

People are terribly underrating Spider-man's fighting skill. I mean stalemating Madame Webb, who besides having similar stats to him also has combat precognition, is not something to scoff at.

I feel spider sense gives him the edge.

With Spidey sense, Spiderman 6/10. Without Spidey sense, Wonder Woman 10/10

Spiderman has webs, agility, wall crawling, and spider sense. I say even if Wonder Woman is more skilled, Spiderman should still win with those.

Problem is that while Peter might be hard to hit, he is not going to win without throwing a punch himself, which is where Diana's skills and stubborness comes into play... as in where she is most likely to counter attack his attack. All she needs a little adjustment time... like here:
