What do you mean by stats equalized? Same combat speeds/strength? If so, meaning it just comes down to whose technique in hand to hand combat is better, I'd side with Bucky.
Bucky
Diana
Bucky.

Bucky
Elaborate?
@frozen: No :P

Granitesoldier constantly besting me really has got to me...
@frozen: rarely do you see Diana in combat situations without her sword. Hand to hand isn't really something she specializes in. I mean, Arthur ended up beating her in a small skirmish which ended with his hand around her throat in New-52. Meanwhile Bucky has been trained by and excelled under Steve Rogers, one of marvel's best martial artists available. I'd say top 3. Sure, Bucky uses all sorts of guns, knives, and Cap's shield when he took up that mantle, but often he ends up in hand to hand combat and rarely does he falter. I don't remember the last time he lost a hand to hand fight.
@frozen: OK.Bucky wins because he's more skilled
@namor_curry: Steve isn't Top 3
@reaverlation: Danny and Sang Chi are about the only ones I could imagine being better. Reflexes don't equal technique, so DD and Spidey are out. His technique is so good that it's basically a combination of every martial art, because his peak condition requires it.
Bucky is better. Diana has very few notable martial arts feats. Her skill is more implied than anything, and she is more of a warrior than a martial artist. But she lost her physicals here and I would give them advantage to bucky.
@namor_curry: Logan, Danny, T'Challa and Matt are all more skilled than Steve
Diana has feats but I'm not sure it's enough to sway my opinion in her favor here. Her reputation is largely circumstantial. Canary going to her for training, Batman's comments, stalemating Bruce a couple times....Decent but weak at the same time.
Admittedly, I've never read anything with Bucky in it but from the scans I've seen over the years, he has a lot of showings and most of them are good. Anyone want to post a few?

I agree with this. As for Bucky feats @slimj87d made a good Bucky respect thread:

@reaverlation: Danny is technique wise but everyone else on that list is not. BP is very close and Logan doesn't really count for H2H when it's more like hand to claws. Even without them retracted Steve still has the better technique. Matt's only advantage is reflexes/reaction time, but he is not more martially inclined than Rogers. Like when Parker fought Cap at one point, Spidey remarked that even with his extra reaction time he doesn't know which way to move that wouldn't result in him getting tagged because Steve's technique is that good.
Bucky is the superior h2h combatant (with equalized stats)
Diana for having like thousands years of amazon combat training.
That doesn't make her a better h2h fighter than someone.
By that logic,she would be better than Batman in h2h,but by feats,we can't really say that.
@agent41: then why did she lose to him hand to hand in that small skirmish? I think it was the Aquaman comic where the League came to stop the Atlanteans when they attacked Boston. On my cell, can't get the scan right now.
@frozen: When you say "stats equalized" does that mean Diana doesn't have her divine strength and her super speed?
@vandersexxx: its either that or bucky is brought to here level
@frozen: When you say "stats equalized" does that mean Diana doesn't have her divine strength and her super speed?
Does it matter either way? She's either brought down to his level or he's risen to hers.
Anyway I'll give this to Bucky for the majority as this is a H2H match Diana's better showings are with weapons.
Wonder Woman has the claim to being a martial arts master as well as one of the best melee fighters Batman knows but she doesn't have the feats of fighting especially skilled opponents with similar physical stats, nor does she have the overall feats of skill on a consistent level like Bucky does.
@agent41: how are you in every thread ive read today? Are you stalking me? L_L

That's because it doesn't exist.
Bucky.
@namor_curry: Arthur didnt beat her, the fight your talking about is when he tackled her and had a hold of her throat, but it DIDNT end there, right after that, she overpowered him and sent him flying with a single punch. In fact, she wasnt even scratched, he however was wiping blood from his nose. And the OP says pre-flashpoint, which is the WW that rarely uses a sword and is one of the best melee fighters in DC. Your referring to new 52 Wonder Woman, who also displayed great skill against two trained Kryptonian soldiers and held the advantage.
Oh and I think bucky might take this. If it were with weapons, Id change my mind.
Diana for having like thousands years of amazon combat training.
By that logic Thor would be the best melee fighter in the Marvel Universe.
I think I can safely speak for everyone here when I say that isn't the case.
