I was thinking the same thing.

Electro would stomp though in his current form. Against classic Electro we would have a better fight. Powerwise, Electro should be Wolverine in his classic form, but I could see him doing something stupid and losing.

As always writers were trying to make Wolverine look cool and badass by beating people he has no chance against. Electro should win every time unless of PIS or environmental reason or plain stupidity on his part.

Electro. Wolverine would have to run up fast enough, and although Wolverine's survived stabbing electrical boxes, Electro's energy is stronger than that. Plus, he can use nearby sources to charge up energy. I mean, c'mon. Electro's fast enough to shock Spiderman, who has the spider-sense, that helped Spiderman defeat Wolverine!

Electro can definitely fry and hurt Logan with his blasts, but I'm not sure if he can actually put Wolverine down. I feel like Electro could win easily if he fought smart and started utilising his more broad abilities, but I'm not sure if he is consistently that smart.

Electro might be able to win if he keeps his distance and doesn’t miss.
