@sheenlantern: You do know what Wolverine's claws are made of, right? It can cut through ANYTHING. Marvel has the strongest metal in comic book history

Just because something is durable doesn't it mean it can cut through anything. For example, can you cut through an iron bar with a titanium sword in one swing? No it would take you hours.

Deathstroke wins. He is skilled & fast enough to land a swing that chops through Wolverine's throat and neck (Theres no bone there, only in the spine which he doesnt have to cut to take him out for a while)

Also Slade as well have a healing factor, in fact, both him and his armor have healing factors and Wolverine would have to land his hits well to actually cut through the armor as It's bulletproof to 30mm rounds & building busting explosions.

Wolverine has cut Hulk, WWH, Thor, Namor, Colossus, Thing, Gladiator and Power Gem Thanos. Wolverine's adamantium claws would shred through DS and his armour. Slade's healing factor doesn't save him from decapitation, dismemberment or vital organ stabs.

They are around the same level in speed and Logan is slightly more skilled. What puts Logan over Slade is his durability/HF and indestructible weapons. Deathstroke is not decapitating Logan. His adamantium skeleton has never been decapitated and he has resisted it multiple times:

Giant blade:

Silver Samurai's sword (This is a guy who can cut bullets out of the air and can channel energy through his blade to make it cut through most materials):

Adamantium saw blade:

@king_stranglehold_da_first:

For one defeats Bronze Tiger unarmed and in regular clothing

Post Flashpoint is much less skilled than his Pre-Flashpoint counterpart

Defeats an amped Green Arrow and Emi Queen at the same time

Green Arrow and Emi Queen? Really?

These are just some...

They pale in comparison with Wolverine's.

@jay_z94:

Feats.

Even Black Panther said in their fight that Wolverine fights based off his healing factor.

You're kidding me right?

You're basing decades of Logan's skill feats on one story? A story in which Logan was mentally unstable, afraid to shave, suffered from horrible writing and was in-fact stated to have lost his skill:

This is clearly not normal/prime Logan and it's plainly obvious through multiple years of feats that Logan is one of the most skilled fighters in the Marvel universe. He has consistently used skill against other skilled opponents: Captain America, Iron Fist, Daken, Deadpool, Daredevil, Sabretooth, Bucky, Shang Chi and the list goes on. Not to mention that he knows multiple pressure points and even multiple alien martial arts.

Here's a tip: Read a Wolverine comic that isn't written by Cornell. His run is completely ignorant of Logan's history and personality. Wolverine didn't act like that when he temporarily lost his healing factor after fatal attractions. Same thing with "The Death of Wolverine" story.

@king_stranglehold_da_first: stranglehold come on man your better than that. the whole point of that story was to show wolverine was a scared desperate and broken man. they are a ton of things that happened in this story that contradict wolverine's past 1 logan being afraid to die. just a year or two before this story he went to hell literally and didn't care at all. so why would he be afraid of death he went through the worst possible out come and it just pissed him off. another thing that story line says is wolverine never thought about dying lets ignore the fact he already had died atleast twice before this. he had already knew he wasn't immortal he made no mistake about this while talking to fury. which indicates he has thought of death and dying before. and the multiple times he faced things that could have killed him regardless of healing factor. and the time that he had almost died in fatal attraction swhere he was actually wanting to die except for when jean reached out to him. does any of that sound like someone who is so afraid to die he won't shave. and also in that story he states that he was once a great fighter but couldn't fight anymore which he replied i got lazy. meaning he started to bank on his healing factor to much. wolverine has trained all the x-men for decades

@jay_z94: To be fair wolverine lost his skill because he relied on his healing factor and didn't practice. I agree Cornells wolverine shouldn't be the sole story to base wolverines skills off of.

@jay_z94: I wouldn't call Wolverine more skilled. He probably is more skilled than Post Flashpoint Slade but Pre Flashpoint Slade is a tactical genius who managed to capture the Teen Titans who have several powerhouses like Starfire & Kid Flash and he was also called multiple times the best tactician on the planet & was leader of multiple villain organizations. He can also use more of his brainpower at once than a normal person can and can think out plans so he will always be one step ahead of Wolverine.

Pre flashpoint Deathstroke and It's close. I think he has a skill/agility & most likely a slight strength advantage. He would have to watch out for the claws but Slade always fights smart.

Almost forgot about his power staff... It could be used to stun Logan as It's used to shoot down helicopters and bust through concrete columns

Yes that's true, Logan does sometimes require refresher courses, but that's only because he's sometimes lazy and can afford to take damage. As you already know, he's a top tier martial artist regardless of this. Also there's the fact that Wolverine was mentally unstable in this story for no reason at all. He didn't act like that after Fatal Attractions or during The death of Wolverine.

I agree Cornells wolverine shouldn't be the sole story to base wolverines skills off of.

Exactly. The guy was basing Logan's skill around this one story.

@king_stranglehold_da_first: I was only addressing your comment on Slade being more skilled than Logan. Solely using T'Challa's statement to fully describe Wolverine's skill and ignoring everything else is nonsensical and objectively false.

It depends on what type of skill we are talking about.

In terms of prep, intelligence, tactics, etc Slade is obviously more skilled. But in terms of H2H/Martial arts skill, there is nothing to suggest that Slade is as skilled as Wolverine, let alone more.

Yes, I suppose he feared receiving a fatal wound without his healing factor. But being scared of shaving is another thing all together lol

Also during TDOW, he was pretty much fearless and invited conflict.

I haven't seen these scans, this is even more evidence that we should ignore Cornell's run lol, thanks.
