Who would really have won Civil War? (MCU)

(Spoilers ahead)

Cap's team was only finding a means to clear WS's name by escaping while Iron Man only wanted to take them alive.

But who would have truly won if they went for the kill instead of distractions and disarming?

Iron Mana team is obviously stacked.

Even if you take away BP and Spidey since they weren't really on his team it's still lopsided

PIS allowed Cap and Bucky to escape, imo.

IF we are taking everyone on the same page about taking killing shots? Team Cap would win this.

Between Ant Man/Giant Man and Wanda; I think Team Cap has the advantage on that score.

However, it would be a bloody end.

Vision should solo, add Rhodey and Tony using lethal weaponary, team Iron Man should stomp

Wanda is a wildcard though

Iron Man could have done that dart thing he did in Iron Man 1 and Age of Ultron and pretty much Cap's whole team would go down

Honestly, it initially seemed lopsided before watching the movie.

But Wanda and Giant Man are the ones to make it even. Wanda was able to control vision from what I saw, I believe she forced him to alter his mass in that scene. Bloodlusted, she could probably rip Rhodes and Starks armor into pieces.

Wanda is a real wild card.

Then there's giant man, who could have done much more damage while he was in Tony's suit. Heck, he could have actually shrank them and turned them into goop with his disc if he evil.

I'm surprised how they managed to make the fight pretty even. But I would lean more towards team iron man probably. Got to think about it.

Haven't seen a bloodlusted Cap or Vision. Both of them would be dangerous. Like a Bloodlusted Cap would have murdered that inexperienced Spider Kid or decapitated Tony Stark at the end instead of disabling his Arc Reactor. Bloodlusted Wanda would be super dangerous like in AOU when Pietro was killed she disintegrated hordes of ultron bots just by her thoughts or something. War machine or Iron man would've met the same fate. Bloodlusted Antman is also dangerous. I remember during his training Hope Van dyne said that Antman was like a bullet when small. He hits hard and people will die. Hawkeye in bloodlust could probably kill Widow considering he was winning even while holding back. A bloodlusted Winter Soldier is dangerous cuz he's already the world's deadliest assasin. Bred to kill.

From the other team lets see. Can't imagine vision in bloodlust but considering how he causally one shotted War machine. He'd deal an irreparable damage to anyone except maybe Wanda. Already seen Tony in bloodlust. His AI FRIDAY scanning someone's fighting style in like 2 seconds is total PIS. Considering something like that is possible then it's evident he was beating Cap. Cap survived only because he is superhumanly durable and Bucky distracted him at the end and Cap won. Cap could resist missiles or bullets or lasers with his shield but not everyone has got such shield or reflexes. Some guys like Hawkeye or Bucky would be dead I guess. Seen BP in bloodlust. He couldn't do shit to a holding back Bucky although his fights were always interrupted. War Machine and Falcon both have got missiles and stuff this time but falcon's durability is less. Yet falcon is more agile in his suit considering his acrobatic maneuver to dodge vision's blast.

Overall Team Iron Man has got some heavy hitters. But Team Cap isn't to be underestimated. They've got couple of Wild card's. Like in the Airport battle stark was overwhelmed by team Cap's wild cards and sarcastically asked if someone in his team has got special abilities. Team Cap also has master strategists. Battle's are won by good strategy.

Anyways vision wanda and Antman are the key people to watch in an all out battle. Vision and Wanda could technically solo in both teams

Wanda could have killed them all most likely. Antman could have fought really dirty and used his shrink disks. Caps team would probably have won. All the street lvlers would have died most likely

Reminder that Ant-man shrink disk insta-kill anyone that don't have a completely seal-off container like his suit (RIP experiment sheep)
Combined that with Wanda kinda ensure a total victory for team Cap

Wanda would wreck half of Team Iron Man herself and she's already been shown to manipulate Vision's own source of power. Scott could've tossed shrink disc at ppl not wearing helmets and turned them to goo. Tony's team has the obvious heavy hitter but Cap has a lot of wildcards.

Wanda and Scott are actually the biggest threats here.

Iron Man's team would have won.

The problem is Wanda could be one shotted by almost anyone. If they were all blood listed then Tony would fire tank busting missiles straight into the fight and would most likely kill Wanda she's a glass cannon from there vision could solo. Heck Tony and Rhodey already knocked giant man on his ass at the en of the fight with one uppercut

Russo Brother already stated at the time they were filming they realized that Wanda could stop the airport fight if she really wanted to and wasn't scared of her own power. Vision is a non factor due to the fact he can be owned by Witch any time she wants to.

Wanda does have a very big weakness to War Machine and Iron Man

Sonic emitters instantly stopped anything she was trying.

Wanda would have to cover vision, which takes her out of the equation

Cap would need to kill spiderman

Bucky stalls panther

Hawkeye kills widow, then spams against war machine

Ant man shrinks who he can and goes giant man to kill (or stall) iron man

Falcon and hawkeye stall or beat war machine

Cap goes to help bucky, they overwhelm panther

Cap and bucky go to help giant man, they over whelm tony

Team finishes war machine

Team gangs up on vision.. ant man shrinks him to the quantum realm or they figure some way to contain him

If anything but the above happens, team cap loses

Team Iron Man still has too much durability and firepower.

Wanda is a heavy hitter but if they're all going for the kill, then most of Team Cap doesn't have the durability to contend with IM, WM, and Visions full weaponry. Also, Wanda went down with a sonic attack, so her durability ia still human.

Panther can easily kill Hawkeye, Bucky, and a grounded Falcon.

SpiderMan is so inexperienced but can still do a good amount of damage.

The problem is that team Cap doesn't have durability feats to keep a fully powered Team Iron Man. Whereas, Team Iron Man can still take heavy hits (a lot) and get back up.

Also, I know Wanda incaped Vision, but he is still a fully Vibranium android. Like how do you even kill it?

Also WM can put her down, Sonics + Missle to the head = dead Wanda.

She kept him down long enough for her and Clint, two people with no form of super speed to escape. KO/Incap constitutes as a win. Even if you think she can't she can just hold him until Ant-man mops up the rest.

WM can own Wanda, he already proved that.

An unsuspecting Wanda with her powers focused elsewhere. War Machine is nowhere near Wanda's level.

He was infront of her, saw it coming and was resisting the entire way through. Rhodey just ambushed Wanda.

Not at all. He surprised someone with human durability, in an actual fight she rips him in half.

@buildhare: At the end of the day, Wanda can't attack and denfend herself at the same time. I think she was only able to incap Vision because her own powers can be amped by the mind gem (it reacted to her powers). Early in the film she had trouble containing an explosion. She wouldn't survive a barage of missiles from IM and WM. Or the sonic attacks. They could literally stay in the air and attack the non-fliers with everything they have.

Team Cap would win. Wanda neutralizes Vision immediately. Hawkeye uses trick arrows to down Widow. Cap goes after Panther and holds him off while Bucky, Hawkeye, and Falcon take down Spidey. Then they help Cap with Panther. Meanwhile Giant Man takes out War Machine and Iron Man. Neither can bring him down, and eventually he'll hit them. If he has trouble Wanda can help out with TK. As for the ranking:

1. Vision: He's obviously got the most raw power. His phasing makes him nigh impossible to down, and his blasts clearly have more damage output than anyone else on either side. He barely fought in the movie and was still arguably the greatest power presence. While Wanda would beat him, that's due to a specific weakness rather than actual raw power.

2. Ant Man: He's just so versatile. He might be my favorite MCU Character and I don't even like Comic Ant Man. He can shrink and dispatch most foes through stealth and his ability to think on his feet. He can dismantle armors or weapons, and even at ant size he can knock around Spider-Man for a bit. His ants can provide distractions or harm street level opponents. If he goes big he outclasses everyone but Vision in raw power, and has insane durability. That's not even getting into the discs which allow him to bring down higher tier opponents than even Vision if he can tag them, or just mess with the environment around them to throw the opposition off guard.

3. Scarlet Witch: She's also very versatile. She has TP, though she's never actually used it effectively in combat so that's why she's not higher. But even her TK allows her suspend Vision, temporarily contain a pretty high grade explosion, deflect bullets, toss around Spider-Man, and do other generally useful things. She's just clearly closer to street level than the other two, who are solidly mid-high tier live action characters.

4. War Machine: I know Tony seemingly has the better suit, but the movie didn't depict it like that at all. Rhodey seemed far more effective at every turn. He clearly has a much hpbigger Arsenal due to excessive weapinry and HAMMER upgrades. He tanked much more apdamage than Tony without going down, also seems much smarter in combat.

5. Iron Man: He's got more firepower than anyone below him, and the suit gives him better strength and durability.

6. Black Panther: The guys got a bullet proof Vibranium Suit, Claws that can scratch Cap's shield, and agility and speed above anyone else in the movie bar Spider-Man. He's also got skill clearly only matched by Cap himself. Plus he was the best part of probably the second best CBM of all time.

7. Falcon: Man, his gear boost was simply insane. He had dual Boba Fett style rocket launchers, multiple other explosives deployed from the suit, and his wings are clearly highly damage resistant. He can use them almost as a more effective version of Cap's shield, and they offer an instant protective barrier from opponents. His skills also clearly grew as he deflected bullets right and left. Red Wing was awesome as well, allowing him to attack from multiple fronts. I know Spider-Man beat him handily, but he was clearly going easy on Parker as he didn't use half his firepower.

8. Spider-Man: Although Cap beat him, that was largely due to the environment. Objectively, Spidey is more powerful against most opponents. He easily overpowered Winter Soldier, and was the fastest character in the movie. If it weren't for his inexperience he might be a couple spots higher.

9. Captain America: He's clearly the most skilled combatant and his physicals were on par with guys like Spidey and Panther in almost every regard.

10. Winter Soldier: I'd put him barely below Cap. He did overpower him in their first encounter, but Steve was clearly holding back and basically just BFR'd. The shield is also a bug advantage.

11. Hawkeye: He's got great aim and some very impressive trick arrows. Plus he finally got some H2H feats.

12. Black Widow: Just really not that impressive.

Wanda's TK/Shields are much stronger then what Iron-Man and War Machine can muster before she uses any of her other powers on them.

Tony one shoted Falcon when he wanted too, WM or IM both take him out instantly, not to mention a inexperienced Peter was too much for Bucky and Sam.

You act like Vision would fight back, LOL he likes Wanda and would't dare harm her. You have no idea if he let her do that or not.

I'll say team Cap because of Wanda and Ant-Man. I do think the movie didn't utilize Vision to the fullest. He seemed to get "tricked" because of his emotional attachment to the Scarlet Witch.

@buildhare: They aren't though. She literally only held that explosion for a few secs before it eventually overcame her powers. That's why she felt guilty that she couldn't get the explosion away from the building in time.

Also IM alone can shoot at least 4 dozens of guided missiles that were strong enough to blow up Chitauri gliders, which the were stomping the military (army??). They won't be able to dodge or block them all, plus there is splash damage. Add his tank buster missiles, and micro-guided munitions, that's half the team right there. Add WM weaponry that seemed almost ridiculously excessive? I doubt she could contain that or protect her team mates from all that firepower.

I agree she is powerful but her durability doesn't do her favors. Thats the problem in Team Cap, their durability isn't as good as Team IM, who could walk away from heavier attacks.

Team Cap because of Wanda and Ant-man. Only if IM and WM spam with missiles and repulsers can they possibly pull a win.

Team cap and Wanda is a huge factor as of it.
