Supes tries to dodge but in the middle of dodging he is sent tumbling in the air and hitting a roof i think. The suits are pretty durable but they sre mainly for environmental protection. It gets to the point where the suits just begin to hinder the Kryptonians hence why Zod removed his armor in the finale.

Has to do with mass, yes. Hulk is more massive than the kryptonians. Also the Kryptonians took 30mm from GAU-8/A not GAU-22/A 25mm. Hulk took a lower caliber.
