Do you mean Volstagg? Volstagg is a 35 tonner with a Asgardian healing factor, endurance, and reflexes (slowed by fat and age but still way above human), and millenia of experience in killing the more than human enemies of Asgard. He would stomp Batman.
I would go for someone in Metallo's range. Too much higher than that, assuming no outside help/tech, Batman can't affect them -- he took out Amazo and Capt. Nazi without prep in Under the Hood, but had Nightwing and the Batmobile/Red Hood with him, respectively. If he gets vehicles? Possibly Aquaman or a standard/low-level Green Lantern (with the yellow impurity). Martian Manhunter, assuming J'onn's jobbing (Batman's got some impressive explosives on him). Giving him OMAC and teleportation-type tech (both of which he's built/used)? Definitely the 1st category. Of course, he also knows MM and Aquaman really well -- even without prep, he has excellent anticipation skills. So, that makes a difference, too. Batman's incredibly rich, and his resources reflect that. Exactly how much of his arsenal is available has a huge impact on who he can take.

If that was Superman thats what I would do. Even with Kyrptonite Bruce should never beat Superman. But it never plays out like that does it.

I think what Killemall meant is Batman would needs to seduce her....instead of a straight up fight...
@jashro44: Bane, Joker, riddler, penguin, all far in superior to batman and gave him a hard time. I can't remember but based on scans I've seen in battle forum more often than not when he fights a new opponent he survives then comes back and owns. i know i've seen him being bested by morons first time around then coming back and winning. It is batmans MO.
Any help from other comicviners to show this will be helpful as I dont have time to find them.
@sandiego008: The first time Bane and batman fought bane had one sided prep. Joker, Riddler and Penguin always needed prep to be batan villains. Batman has several impressive feats like stalemating cassandra cain, beating bane, giving deathstroke a hard time, stomping nightwing, matching lady shiva, etc.

How would Batman disable Wolverine when Wolverine has retractable claws, superb healing factor, adamantium skeleton, & superhuman reflexes + the combat skills of Batman

She doesnt have to be a superior fighter she has far better stats then him anyways, she is a whole lot stronger, faster, more durable and more versatile.
My comment was meant to be a joke, and reference to Batman Confidential 53 where he fought and beat Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Flash, in a random encounter.
