Who is the faster character: KIZARU VS KAIDO (combat speed)

Kaido is obviously not FTL in travel speed

Anyone who can comfortably blitz Marco from a reasonable distance (like a dozen meters or more) would be FTL since light speed attacks from the same distance can't blitz him.

I don't know if Kaido can do that but most likely if we go by in verse scaling. It's implied Marco lost badly to post skip teach and he got blitzed by old Garp at MF, no reason Kaido shouldn't be at least as fast as either.

Does that mean if I put him up against Bambina for example, Kaido wouldn't get blitzed?

The lasers feat is beginning of Post Skip Luffy post 2 year training with Rayleigh and is a relativistic reaction feat

It's consistent that he would be faster in his Base form through combating Kuma clone who previously took the entire Straw Hats to fight.

In comparison to Post Skip Luffy who can no dif Kuma clone in base.

In shows progression in both areas of AP and Speed post 2 year skip

That's not even factoring in Gear 2 which is already established to be massive amp in speed

There's also a feat of old rusty Rayleigh match kizaru in combat speed and intercepting him while travelling at LS Which the yonkos scale above.

Marco's feat proves he has no problem reacting to attacks moving at ls

If anyone can blitz him it simply means they move Faster than what marco can react to and we've seen marco react to light speed ..so making them FTL from speedblitzing him

With current feats, Kaido's combat speed is indeed even higher than Kizaru's. As ridiculous it may sound.

Luffy could react to and evade light speed lasers with basic Observation Haki.

Luffy could react to but not completely evade Kaido's Thunder Bagua with Future Sight.

@wushu59: Luffy and other characters were able to dodge some of those lasers pre time skip and it failed to hit many characters directly. That statement also said it had Kizaru's attack power which is something many characters were able to easily survive. This would also mean Kizaru is far slower than post time skip Luffy right after training with Rayleigh. Kizaru would be fodder in speed and attack power. There's no ftl feat from Kizaru nor any evidence that he can increase the speed of his light. No evidence that his devil fruit was fully replicated.

@namebk: What does it even matter? No where was it stated that Kizaru was the fastest, Kuma can replicate light speed feats with his devil fruit, light speed is not the end all be all.

Before people start spewing nonsense Kizaru was never stated to be the fastest OP character. Just keep that in mind before you make your decision on who is faster.

Luffy dodged light speed attacks in the beginning of Post Timeskip

He got advanced CoO during WCI which increases his reaction speed even more

But he still did not manage to fully evade Kaido's attack and even he said that i was using FS but he was too fast

That puts Kaido at least FTL in combat speed

so its established that kaido is LS or ftl in combat speed right

The verse has been FTL with on panel feats since Pre Time Skip
