@wanderez: The Hogyoku wasn’t in effect at that point, since Aizen was weakened enough. Hogyoku could’ve saved him if the seal was launched when he was still in control of it.

naruto characters are known to get sealed by shitty seals due to their trash physicals and the fact that there charkra are seal= fodder, sealing a ninja charkra you can seal them with normal steel/iron chains.

look at what happened to Kurama when the Ghost reaper sealed was used on him same with 3rd Hokage and the Edos.

I'm sticking with canon, in which Ichigo weakened Aizen enough to trigger the seal, as told by Urahara.

It also seems that the Hogyoku truly rejected Aizen, even in the Muken, or else it would've evolved him past the chair. How he got stronger in that chair is beyond me though.

I believe The seal only activates if the person is weak enough to be put into the seal and at that point its over. The real question should be who would this seal work on if placed on them.

This is a direct soul seal-it seals your soul from inside out, and its a high level Kido From Urahara of all people . I don't think anyone in Naruto breaks out of it easily.

Although as requiem says. Izanagi if used quickly could do the trick.
