who in Assasins Creed can beat Shay Cormac CQC?

I'm thinking the stronger AC protagonists like Conner and Ezio can do it. Probably not assasins like Desmond.

All of them can defeat shay .

Why would Edward defeat Shay ?

Srsly, no one played AC Rogue?

Did shay ever fight haytham?

Altair, Ezio and Connor.

Thought about playing Rogue, but I still need to play Black Flag.

How good is Shay?

Altair, Haytham, Ezio. Dunno about Edward.

Because IIRC Pirates use cutlass's that are built for CQC and Edward is a pirate/Assassin

If it can be argued that he can defeat Altair, Ezio or Connor. I'm pretty sure he can beat Shay.

Any of Desmond's ancestors would beat Shay, and probably Arno as well.

I know you may not like it, but Desmond is actually the best Assassin(in terms of skill and experience) in the series. He basically has the experience and fighting skills of Connor, Altair, and Ezio.

I've played every Assassin's Creed on Xbox 360. Does this mean I can beat any of those assassin?

Desmond is the best Assasin of them all. He would defeat Shay. I'm willing to say Connor and Ezio could too. Altair also.

@ninjawarrior268: Not sure if trolling, but if not, then Desmond IS the best assassin in the series. It was even proven when he was letting Lucy do the work of killing the guards for him in AC2, to soloing Abstergo in AC3.

I agree Altair and Ezio could beat Shay handily. Altair is the Mentor of mentors. And Ezio as well. They've both also fought against numerous rogue Assassins and traitors and have defeated them.

Conner MAYBE. Conner was able to undue all of the damage Shay caused to the Brotherhood in the Colonies. He also wiped out the Templar order that Shay was apart of. BUT his Templar targets were mostly guys who weren't warriors to begin with. He barely survived against Haytham and only because Haytham hesitated. Shay on the other hand fought hardened Assassins and hunted them all down until they were wiped out. Conner was taught by the same mentor that Shay defeated. Also Shay's two weapon fighting style could prove to be difficult for Conner to deal with using his tomahawk. It'd be a close fight either way.

Shay's Assassin training and Privateer experience would allow him to best Edward if they fought.

Also I agree that Desmond is the strongest most skilled Assassin, although he's not my favorite Assassin. He had the combined skills and abilities of Altair, Ezio and Conner arguably the three best, most legendary Assassins in the order's history. He uses those same skills to kill many Abstergo agents in the modern day, with their modern weapons and all, kills two Master Templars (one of them a Shay-like traitor) and takes back the POE. He also saved the entire planet from destruction, accomplishing more than any Assassin before him.

Since you're taking away almost all of Shay's stuff, I say Altair, Ezio, Connor, and Edward all can beat Shay. Idk about Arno, I haven't played Unity yet.

If you gave Shay all his stuff, I say Ezio is the only one. None would sneak up on him simply because of his superior eagle sense. Altair and Ezio are far more skilled than Shay. Altair just doesn't have the equipment needed. His ranged weapons consists of knives and a crossbow. Shay has guns and grenades. Connor doesn't have the skills. He hunted guys that weren't really fighters except Haytham, but thats only because Haytham had no intention of killing Connor and he hesitated. Shay hunted hardened assassins with years of experience. Edward has more guns but ultimately would fall to Shay's grenades. Ezio is very skilled and has enough supplies I think he would beat Shay 2 out of 3 times.

Connor. His physical stats are overpowered. Dude can overpower bears and elks, he'd punch Shay's eyes out and snap his arms like twigs.

Ezio could take him, probably using the Hookblade. I don't think Shay would be prepared for it.

I think the only one who would lose is probably Arno.

Ezio, Altair, and Haytham are the only ones. Connor, Edward, and Arno aren't beating him.

Connor could win purely through physicals.

@ultragreenboy: Connor is stronger and has displayed being the strongest Assassin when it comes to pure physical strength. But a fight involves more than physical strength, especially amongst Assassins who are trained to kill you before you see them. Shay's arsenal is very impressive and his Eagle vision is much better than Connor's. In fact, Connor has the worst Eagle vision of any of the assassins as it was only useful for hunting animals and not much else.

Why is everybody flexing like Edward can't beat shay ??

Altair, Ezio, Connor, Edward & Jacob can definitely beat Shay. I'm not too sure on everybody else.

The Assassins from the main trilogy do. Don't think Edward can.

@raecinio: This is CQC. Connor is also arguably the best assassin in this department from what has been shown. Not to mention that he could quite literally break Shay in two just with raw physical strength.

I've beaten all the games in succession recently up till Rogue so they're relatively fresh in memory. Have yet to play the two latest games. Is it just me or is Connor the worst to control in combat? He's sluggish and doesn't dole out much damage. I know that doesn't matter feats wise but considering he's using two weapons simultaneously it really isn't anything impressive.

I've never played Rogue, but Connor seemed like a better in H2H than both Ezio and Altair.

If we're talking about with Hidden Blades and knives included, I doubt he's getting past any of the main 3 based on what I know of them.

@synchronized_123: shay would probably beat Jacob, his feats aren't as good and he uses really short range melee weapons.

in a cqc fight, I can't see Jacob winning, mostly because the kukri and/or the cane sword is a crap match-up against the heavier blades used by shay.

I can see Edward doing really well against him, not sure if he could win

Connor is a bit of a toss up imo

Ezio might take a majority against him

I personally think Arno would get his ass beat bad by a prime shay

my two cents

Altaïr defeats him because he is the legendary Assassin who created the Assassin order what it is today and all the Assassin techniques the later Assassins used to kill their enemies. Also, he technically completed every game he's featured in, without taking any damage at all.

Ezio defeats him because he single-handedly(almost) destroyed all the advanced warmachines, took down clan of Romulus(He even fought 15 of them coming from all directions without taking any damage), and took down the Hermeticists clan. He was skilled enough in his 50s to engage 20+ guards at once with nothing but his hidden blades. He's also fought the likes of Papal guards and Janissaries.

Edward, Connor and Aveline lose to Shay because he has fought better enemies(Assassins) in worse conditions.

Have no idea about Arno, Jacob and Evie because I haven't played their games yet.

@synchronized_123: no, he's not as good as connor at all. Arno, Evie and Jacob are allot more grounded in their combat capabilities compared to anyone prior, because their games rely more on stealth.

As for this, ezio, Connor, Altair and Edward should win.

Not Sure abotu Edward as I personally beleive he's the weakest of the Desmond Heritage but his Grandson, Altair and Ezio would beat him.

Shay can beat Jacob, Aveline and quite possibly even Evie..

Nobody else.
