A Kylo Ren who's not out of practice and has completed his training, in good health, both physically and mentally and at the peak of his power, is a unknown variable.

Polar opposite of all those above Kylo Ren would lose to an untrained, Force Rage enchanced Rey and anyone else above her.

Yah Kylo Ren isn't the best, I'd imagine any named force user besides Pre-ESTB Luke could beat Kylo Ren right now.

Considering the fact that Rey was able to overpower Kylo via her force connection in their duel despite the fact that Kylo had superior training in comparison to Rey and she was pretty much aiming to kill Kylo ( a huge no-no for the Jedi way) for taking the life of the only father figure she probably had in her entire life and badly injuring Finn while fighting for her survival.

How could it not be possible that she was using Force Rage to win the duel when all the circumstances are pointing right into that direction?

I know we are in a state of complete speculation right now, but in my mind I would put Kylo Ren on movie VIII as on the same level as Darth Maul completely healthy, based on his durability, heritage and the prospect of "finishing his training"
