Its pretty well known that Odin would stomp the vast majority of Supermen that we've seen so far. However, every once in a while, we get a version of Superman that absolutely eclipses the others in terms of sheer power.

How many versions of Superman can take a majority against 616 Odin in bloodlusted combat, and what are they?

  • Fight takes place in the center of the observable universe
  • 616 Odin is at his consistent skyfather level that most people know him at
  • Fight goes to the death

SA Superman has both Universal and sub planet level feats, but I think his average level was intended to be multi star level to ~Galaxy level on his average days.

Would that be enough to take Odin?

Odin is about multi-galaxy level so I doubt it.

No way SA Superman was galaxy-level on average. Galaxies are made up of billion of star-systems.

Millions to trillions of stars*

Most of his middle ground feats seem to fall in that range.

@gokuisthebest: PC Superman is not gonna cut it. He lost to SBM, who himself is sub-Odin level. Itd be a decent Brawl tho, to amuse Odin and get his old-man muscles warmed up.

OT: SV Superman is a maybe. CAS Definitely sweeps.

All of those are either featless or don't have the feats applicable to win. Golden Age (Earth 2) in particular was pretty garbage in terms of actual feats (tho this was back when lifting a car and jumping over a small building was considered unique to be fair)

I've heared Golden Age have a lot of hax? I heard some people consider him a toon character because of how random and absurd he was. That should count for something, I mean toon wins against many forms of traditional fiction.

As for the others I can't agree they are featless. It's just not true. And idk why wouldn't they have feats applicable to win, White Lantern is one of the most established rings and it's powers are pretty clear and on universal level. Superboy Prime has plenty of feats that would put him on the level of Odin, some would argue above. Allstar I guess is debatable but still far from featless. Kingdom Come yeah, maybe you're right here.

@professorrespect: Superman Prime survived a Guardian blowing up in his face, absorbing the Oan energy. He survived Monarch blowing up in his face with Universal destruction. His durability is very high.

What can Odin possibly do to him? Prime is resistant to magic.

Nah that's more Sliver Age stuff from the 60's and 70's. Golden Age (30's to early 50's) is more basic and doesn't have a ton to go by

As for the others I can't agree they are featless. It's just not true

(citation needed)

And idk why wouldn't they have feats applicable to win, White Lantern is one of the most established rings

And Superman has no clear feats with it.

Not really. You have a bunch of wank feats to use if you omit context, at actual consistent levels he'd probably be around about galaxy level durability, teambuster tier. We've seen what teambusters (Thanos) do to Odin already.

Kingdom Come yeah, maybe you're right here

I mean KC's just regular Superman but showcased as slightly stronger due to sun exposure etc.

@foreveralive said:

And Guardians are very inconsistent, lol. Pre Crisis had them as almighty beings while Post Crisis and N52 had them be beat up by Larfleeze and Krona, fought off by fairly weak forces etc. They definitely aren't great.

He survived Monarch blowing up in his face with Universal destruction

A chain reaction that he survived only due to Time Trapper taking him out of it? Lol. Come on. Let's be a little bit serious.

What can Odin possibly do to him?

Odinforce blasts/hax etc. Not that hard.

Prime is resistant to magic

Based on the singular feat of him resisting a generic attack from a weaker 30th Century Mordru? Doesn't show him being able to do anything against actual versatile uses of magic (transmutation/molecular tornados/telepathy etc) so you'll need to give me evidence of that also being the case.

You started this argument, let's end it before things get heated.

If you don't think Superman Prime can win, there is still Thought Robot anyway.

That's just my prognosis bro, you gotta read more to get more knowledge about who you discuss: no harm in admitting you don't know stuff 100%!

@professorrespect: Alright fine. Looks like Odin is more powerful than I thought if you think he defeats Superman Prime and Thought Robot.

Do you think any Superman version can win? Or do they all lose? What about Superman 1 Million? Sure, he's featless but his implied power is pretty high.

@professorrespect: Superman Prime survived a Guardian blowing up in his face, absorbing the Oan energy. He survived Monarch blowing up in his face with Universal destruction. His durability is very high.

What can Odin possibly do to him? Prime is resistant to magic.

Prime only survived the Guardian blowing up because the Guardian's energy randomly tore a hole in space and amped his body rather than forming an attack as was the goal. Immediately before that, regular Guardian energy blasts had him screaming in pain. It was literally PIS.

And he could only fight Monarch because he has been amped by the Guardian's energy, which was stated multiple times. Fighting Monarch was consuming all of Prime's stored energy so he used everything he had left to tear Monarch's armor and survive the resulting explosion that KO'ed them both, leaving Prime back on his pre-Guardian power. He presumably wouldn't even have escaped from that defeat if his unexplainable Time Trapper counterpart/future-self didn't pluck him from wherever the Monarch fight left him, and inserted him back on Earth under a yellow sun.

What about White Lantern Superman? Allstar Superman? Superboy Prime? Golden Age? Kingdom Come?

All-Star would get stomped or maybe even one-shot KO'ed.

Superboy Prime would get beaten handily in a few moments.

Kingdom Come and Golden Age are so weak in comparison to Odin that a wave of his hand would kill them both and leave nothing behind.

Are you seriously just mentioning random versions without any significance? There is absolutely nothing KC Superman ever did that would provide a challenge for Odin. Might as well bring up DCAU Superman while you're at it.

When did Superman wear a White Lantern RIng? Did he actually do anything with it?.

TR with TP and Prime regularly ye

I mean it's impossible to quantify the sundip he took considering it was for ages but the only Supermen versions I could see winning for a clear majority are:

Sliver Age Sups (if he's in his high end mode where he can just overcome anything)

Strange Visitor (if we assume Mxy scaling is legit)

Quantum Superman

That's all I can think of tbh

@ultraphoenix: Yeah that's possible. Odin freezing Prime in time and then killing him could work.

Prime is very fast though, does Odin stopping time negate Prime's speed?
