Which Shinigami, including the Royal Guard, can defeat Bankai yamamoto 1on1?

Aizen, Ichibei, Ichigo and above

There are quite a few who could.

Kenpachi, byakuya, pretty much the entire RG by scaling, adult Toshiro, Aizen, ichigo, shunsui.

yeah those (aizen, ichibei and ichigo) are the most powerful and hax Shinigami already aren't they? Who is a tier above them?

I remember reading here on comicvine that in the LN it is revealed that shinji's bankai can reverse time or something along those line, if that is the case then Shinji can also make the list.

The obvious ones have been named, bad time to tag me I would think more but I have to cook.

@brownzeus: from what I know, Shinji's bankai alters the disposition of enemies, making them misinterpret friends and foes so they end up killing each other. Effective versus armies and multiple enemies, but not effective 1on1 since there's no one to mistake as a friend/enemy

@vinec1993:Quincy haha. But from my knowledge, Aizen and Ichigo are already the most powerful Shinigami, with Ichibei among them due to the nature of his Zan which is pretty hax. I don't know what Shinigami could be considered a tier above those 3.

Ichibei, ichigo, aizen, oetsu, potentially any of the other royal guard members, kenpachi, adult toshiro, potentially renji and rukia. That's pretty much it. He's still one of the strongest shinigami

The only shinigami who can beat Bankai Yamamoto are Ichibei, Aizen, and Ichigo.

Aizen, Ichigo, Ichibei, Kenpachi if he can deal with the passive heat, and maybe adult Toshiro.

Noble families

Byakuya, Ichibei, Aizen, Kenny, Ichigo, and immortal Komomoura. The squad zero guys should be able to, but they're featless. Shunsui and Toshiro have the potential as well, but I wouldn't give them the majority.

Edit: I think oetsu has a chance if he can hit with his one shot kill zanpaktou but I don't know if he has the reiatsu to survive yama's heat

Yamamoto is planet lvl, he dried up all the water on the entire Soul Society just by entering bankai. His attacks are ferocious, Toshiro gets fried, Byakuya’s attack gets bribed to ash. The only 2 that win here are Aizen and Ichebi. Kenpachi gets one-shot slapped

Ichibe. Literally stated to be superior to Yamamoto. Has superior hax too. 10/10 stomp.

Aizen. Via superior reiatsu, immortality and KS hax. I'd say 8/10 easily.

EOS Ichigo should have sheer stats like energy output, reiatsu and speed above Yamamoto. It's hard to say would that be enough to beat him though. I'd say he can do it just barely, 6/10.

Urahara and Mayuri can potentially outsmart him or beat him with prep. Though he may just as well incinerate them too. I'd say it's a tossup, 5/10.

EOS bankai Kenpachi should be technically able to overpower him at least physically. Will that be enough to beat him? Who knows. Probably not tbh. I'd give him 4/10
