Team B: Doc Savage, Columbo, Taichi Keaton, Hershel Layton

Team C: Sherlock Holmes, Barbara Gordon, Shinichi Kudo, Father Brown

well considering most of these detectives are pattern after holmes or the very least inspired by him,, I say they win... I don't know all of them tho so went with what I know....

He's the purest detective out of them all... even the great Bruce Wayne relies on gadgets

Old-school Holmes looks at a crime-scene and somehow figures out everything with basically no hard evidence

Team 3. Kudo is basically an amalgamation of Batman and Sherlock Holmes.

either you haven't read any Sherlock Holmes stories or you are greatly exagerating his chatacter

Sounds like you're the one who needs to brush up on his Holmes

He basically never used any analytical tools, implements, databases, etc. etc. just his own smarts, observation and knowledge

It comes with being a late 19th century detective, you don't get a forensics kit to help you
