Which in your opinion is the best counter to speed blitzing?
AOE
Honorable mention: durability > blitzer's damage output
I was gonna put durability actually but decided not to.
Being faster than the dude trying to blitzing you.
Lol a good one but that's obvious.
Intangibility
F#%k I was also gonna put that.
Force fields can count as durability in this instance. You can protect yourself or trap the blitzer in an invisible barrier.
Always bet on durability or always on force fields. If the person "speed blitzing" is faster than you can think, then you might not get the chance to use TP or force fields. If the person blitzing is too strong and fast, you might not even get the chance to use AOE or even hit them with your AOE because they could just dodge or outrun it, like FOX Quicksilver outrunning an explosion.
I was going to say durability, since it requires the least amount of work. That said, I'm going to say anything but telepathy. Speed of thought rarely overcomes speedster speed, nor should it really. That said, either of the other options are too vague to say. An AoE attack can still be slow af. Force field depends on who's using them and how fast they can be deployed.
I voted for Force fields even tho that didnt stop Lee from Blitzing Gaara into the dirt
TP is no good because most Speedsters are Faster than Thought
And they Could probably tag you before you attempt an AOE Tbh you'll need a combination of the 2 to stand a chance FF+ AOE
Isn’t the obvious telekinesis? Unless they can fly a person isn’t blitzing you if you’re keeping them off the ground?
1. Not being on an average CV Battle thread.
2. Don’t let your opponent be Flash or Sonic the Hedgehog.
Depends if the user is fast enough to generate an AOE attack or TP the blitzer before getting speedblitzed into oblivion. However, assuming the attacker has superior physicals and a high level of speed and is consistent at using it in combat (f.e speedblitzing people from the get-go), I'd say the best counter for that would be having a much higher durability than the attacker's damage output and a decent hax (precognition, TP and matter/molecular/soul manipulation or draining or instant teleportation/BFR..etc) and enough speed to react in time, that would allow the one getting speedblitzed to either TP the attacker or fend him off with an AoE attack or straight up **** him up with his superior hax.
Sufficient durability, passive force fields, and armor are generally the best counter to super speed. If your enemy is much faster than you they WILL hit you first. You need some way to survive the initial blitz and a few dozen hits so that you have the time to process the thought to initiate telepathy or an AoE attack.
So any kind of passive defense is necessary. You can't fight back if you're down before you even realize the fight has started.
