Which Akatsuki members could Orochimaru beat.

. If Oro was at the height of his power and had both arms, which Akatsuki members could he take down? Time period is the beginning of Shippuden. No prep from either side, but any previous knowledge they have about their opponent is in play.

Zetsu, Hidan, Konan, Deidara, possibly Sasori, and Kakuzu. Kisame could go either way tbh

I think that Deidara, Konon, Hidan, Zetsu, and Sasori could lose to Orochimaru

@mattbrewhaha: Yeah, I think Kisame would be the closest fight because of his vast amount of Chakra and Samehada. Both his clone's fight and his actual fight with Might Guy are pretty good indicators of how powerful he is.

As for Jiraiya, I think he would perform a little better against Kisame than Orochimaru for two reasons:

• The statement about Jiraiya from Itachi and Kisame in season 1 about what would happen if they fought.
• Jiraiya's performance against Pain with borderline 0 knowledge.

However, I think Jiraiya would still lose to Itachi if the latter was healthy.

Beat: Zetsu, Hidan, Konan, Kakuzu, Sasori

Either Way: Deidara, Kisame

Lose: Itachi, Obito, Pain

Random encounter:

Everyone but Hidan, and maybe Deidara, if we are to be realistic.

Loses to everyone in the right circumstances.

He catches them:

He wins against everyone but Nagato, Pain, Itachi, Obito and Kisame

Who he probably beats: Zetsu, Hidan, Deidara, Konan and Sasori.

Could go either way: Kisame, Kakuzu.

People who will terminate or put an end to him: Itachi, Nagato, Obito if he doesn't fool around and Pain.

The only ones that COULDN'T beat orochimaru are sasori ,konan and Hidan

He could beat anyone of the akatsuki except itachi, pain, and obito.

For kisame, remember that orochimaru has hius edo tensei summons of hashirama, tobirama, and minato. Hashirama alone denies kisame his huge water bubble. Or Manda could prove a big challenge for kisame as well as orochimaru's eight headed serpent form.

Deidara for sure his fighting style is well suited against Orochimaru

Kisame Kakuzu very close they can do it

Sasori maybe but loses more times than not

Hidan if no knowledge and Orochimaru is too cocky

Kakuzu is a toss-up depending on how powerful you think he is

Kisame would depend on whether Orochimaru has Edos or if Kisame starts at base form.
