Where does Gaara rank in the Bleach verse?

Assuming Gaara was a Death God in the Bleach verse, he would only have his powers from all of canon Naruto just with the ability to see other Death Gods. How high up would he rank, who could he beat or not beat?

Just a little heads up, Gaara has a counter for Aizen he has seals. ( I'm not saying he would beat Aizen i'm just saying he has that counter.)

Captain

Lower tier captain, his speed is a problem. (Also Aizen may be able to just overpower his seals with his spiritual pressure.)

High Captain if you disregard hax.

@tarutaru: Gaara's Chakra is now spirit pressure as he's a Death God, right? And Gaara's dad compared Gaara to an unleashed Shukaku so he has massive pools of chakra/ spirit pressure would that help him?

Junior Captain level

High Lieutenant class. Considering even Lieutenants can have Bankai. He isn't captain class let alone a high level one.

Lol most of his sand attacks are going to useless, shimigamies can walk on air and have various ranged attacks plus spells

@flashback0180: Gaara's sand is so wide range he can fight a flying opponent and defend an entire Village at the same time, I don't think range and flight is a problem for him, also he himself can fly and at speeds that match KCM1 in travel speed.

Mid tier cap

@parasyte: Gaara's got awesome charka reserves/spirtual pressure but Aizen casually negated a captain's shikai that's an instant kill with his spiritual pressure, which is stated to be at least twice the average captain level. So it's definitely possible he could overpower Gaara's seal, but not for sure.

@parasyte: I would like to see scans of him flying. Thus has been his most basic drawback in a verses battle.

He will be a mid-tier captain,even if shinigamis can do the air walk,let's not forget that he can also fly with his sand and he can fight in the air perfectly fine as shown when he fought deidara another thing worthy of note is that he has a good chakra reserve being a former jin and also a kage also if we are ranking him in the bleach verse that means he is a shinigami and can do basic things such as flying and flash step

@tarutaru:if the shinigami you are refering to is yamamoto then that guy was way stronger than the others since he was captain commander plus aizen was a special case among the captains,also gaara is definately above some guys such as komamura,kensei,etc meaning he will take them out in a one on one fight and they are captains so what does that tell us.

Really it's debatable whether he could beat any captains (or even some lieutenants), especially if we're counting current manga feats. I'd say he has a good chance against Komamura and Mayuri (unless that psycho has prep.) Kensei MAYBE.

that's like saying deidra can "fly". I ment flying as in areal combat like onoki. I don't recall gara ever being capable of moving like him or better yet 8 gate guy.

@parasyte: yes there is, clear restricted movement. This is a basic drawback, we don't consider kid goku being capable of fighting while flying on the nimbus, we don't consider sternger capable of flying even though he has endless supply of drones. The very concept puts them in a disadvantage. It comes down to which technique is superior.

Regular Gaara is Grimmjow level, with shukaku he's high tier.

Right next to Byakuya. They basically have the same power, in practice. Mobility and defense counter balance.

@parasyte: yes by all logic it's inferior to bleach characters. Using projectile/AOE attack doesn't change the fact his movements are restricted. Are you seriously trying to convince me that he can freely move on air just as on ground? .

Silly reasoning. By this logic Bleach characters don't fly either because all they do is stand on Reiatsu.

Lol Gaara fights better in the air than on the ground and his sand is REALLY fast.

bleach characters can move on air as freely as they do on ground , they have better mobility. characters like deidra are restricted to his bulky clay birds movement. how does one not see the drawback here. its massively inferior in close combat , many of toptiers in naruto verse can fight just like bleach characters in air, gara definitely isnt one of them.

Gaara isn't Deidara. And for all intent and purpose his aerial capabilities are exactly the same as any soul reaper if not better given that his sand is much faster than himslef. Again your logic makes no sense because we are literally just replacing the Reiatsu they stand on with sand.

Go ahead and give examples of how Bleach characters mobility would be any better with a concrete evidence.

Also, whether a character is flying floating or riding something it is still flight regardless of the means used, by your logic all winged characters cannot be considered as flying characters when that's exactly what they are. Different degrees of mobilities does not take away their title.

@flashback0180: Gaara is highly mobile even in the air since he does not use his body for CQC like the Bleach characters do, he instead uses his sand and that sand has been proven many times to be on par with highly capable and fast CQC fighters.

Low Captain. I'd say other Captains like Komamura, Mayuri and Ichimaru can easily overpower him with speed, power or just pure hax.
