I see a lot of variations on stomps, eg. lolstomp, roflstomp, wtfstomp, etc.
is godstomp the highest level of stomp?

@kalder_ridley: wtfgodstomp To oblivion
Or stomp of biblical proportions
CosmicGodstomp
Did I just make that up?
Yes I did.
Does this belong in the battle forums?
No it doesn't.
@sladerulez: yes, it's a battle of stomps
It's just fun to play with.
I think if you're sticking anything in front of the word 'stomp' then it's likely to be a pretty one-sided affair.
So basically:
lolstomp = godstomp = roflstomp = shitstomp = whateverstomp
IMO. It's down to preference.
My personal favourite has to be "shitstomp kaio-ken x9000"
Curbstomp. If you get to the point where the characters have physically and mentally broken a character to the point where they can American History X stomp they ass into a curb then you know you're dealing with a curbstomp.
As far as I know, the moment "stomp" is mentioned, automatically its a pretty one-sided affair.
There are stomps that are defined as spites, such as pitting Wonder Woman vs. Dormammu or Kayako Saeki vs Ghost Rider, two characters with a wide gap in capabilities
Then there are godstomps (Where two gods collide but one gets horribly stomped) like Lucifer Morningstar vs Bhunivelze and Thor vs. Shuma Gorath
There's also roflstomp which is an extremely absurd battle to think about, such as Thanos w/ IG vs. Saviour Lightning Farron or Odin vs. Chun Li, where you will never imagine such battle taking place because the battle will be over before you can conceptualize it.
And the worst stomps are the "stomp beyond epic proportions" such as Pre-retcon Beyonder vs. Zidane Tribal or Yog Sothoth vs Cloud Strife, where you pit an omnipotent / nigh-omnipotent against a street-level character.
Either way, they often denote a horrible mismatch where there is one who dies / gets crushed very easily.
roflcopterstomp
lmaooo
I'd say either curbstomp, like @citizensurfer said, or a Spite, cause a spite match is going too far to where it looks like it is intentionally looking to spite one of the combatants.

@kalder_ridley: "Mismatch", when one character has no absolutely options to attack or defend themselves from the opponent. This is the highest level because past that, it doesn't really matter how much stronger the opponent gets because the outcome can't change. Its use is pretty unforgiving, there are usually few to no ways to fix the match.
A stomp is a one sided fight. It's use is forgiving, there's usually plenty of room to balance the match as the difference isn't too great.
A curbstomp, or any other Xstomp where X is variable, is a conceptual placeholder for a "mismatch". It's used both synonymously with or to describe a fight nearing a mismatch. People just switch it up for lols...if you had to measure it, you could do so by complexity (with limitless potential to escalate).
