What is Superman's power level?

If Superman lived in DBZ world, what would be his power level?

300.

Based off his feats, I could see him being around 1,000,000. That's under this assumption:

Vegeta ~ 24,000 (Planet Buster)

....How the hell are we supposed to know?

Around 6-8 would be my guess.

Based on feats, around here. That is the level that requires you to power up an attack to destroy the moon. So unless Superman has feats of destroying things larger than the moon, that would be able where he would be.

It does, but only in lifting strength. Think about it kinda like Trunks going USSJ, he was physically more powerful, but was beaten by someone that was physically weaker.

True. But in terms of lifting strength, most DBZ Characters are weak. Their impressiveness comes from their striking power. Superman's power level is an enigma.

Wait isn't power level readings based on Ki and not strength?

I'd guess billions-trillions if it's ignoring the need for ki.

Even ignoring the need for Ki, what has Superman done that is so far above busting a moon or a planet? Even planet busting was achieved with only 18,000 power level.

Yes, but IIRC scouters measured ki, and AFAIK Superman doesn't use ki.

They measure strength.

They measured the human, who has no Ki, and in the Manga... it also measured a Turtle.

I was thinking about it, he could be much higher than I initially thought. I was thinking about moon destruction being accomplished at 300 and planet destruction being accomplished at 18,000. And while that is true, that is using Ki blasts. It would be different being able to do either of those things with purely physical strength.

In order to get his power level(or a somewhat close approximation) you would need to figure out how much each category goes into the power level. Then you would have to figure out(strength for instance), if a person could life say 100,000,000 tons-what would that translate into for power level. Then do the same for each category. Then probably average the categories.

Not really, otherwise they never would have beat Buu (It required humans who don't know how to manipulate ki to donate some to Goku so that he could power the Spirit Bomb)

They have to give the ok for goku to take the Ki. They don't willingly wield it and give it to him.

That still means they have ki, they just don't know how to manipulate it. Which was my point, all DBZ creatures have ki.

Galactus Power Level

It's tough to say. At his weakest, which would probably be his earliest comics, he was still able to lift large vehicles like boats and the weakest thing that could hurt him was a large artillery shell. Goku was lifting and throwing small cars at a Power Level of 10, and tanking pistol fire, too. So let's just say he is 10 or 20x stronger than Goku, so he is at a Power Level of 100 or 200.

Obviously he was depicted much stronger later, sneezing away galaxies and surviving nukes, so above Hatchiyak level, which is probably a bit above Broly (probably something like 1,450,000,000) so maybe 1,500,000,000. Maybe since he did it so casually he is 10x stronger? I don't know.

I don't know Superman's greatest and weakest feats, but he varies a lot. If you were to wank him he would be at DBZ levels of strength, if you only took his greatest feats. He's definitely nowhere near DBS though. They're into the quintillions as far as Power Levels go now while I'd never put Superman out of billions.

Yeah, I wouldn't know then. The easiest Superman to gauge is really Goldenage, his powers were more defined.

As for topic, we have to remember :

• He is MFTL. PL > 10,000 on speed alone.
• He can lift 1 sextillion ton, PL > 100,000 on strength alone.
• He can tank similar power attacks. PL > 200,000 on durability alone.
• Total = over 310,000. By how much, no idea.

What would wolverines power level be? 8? 20?

I think his power level would be 100 million judging by his feats. Maybe a little lower.

Edit: If this is new 52 a LOT lower than that I mean a lot.

@bahumat: the androids didn't have ki at all and they were still seen as huge threats. Ki is very important because it's the main power source in dbz but it isn't everything. And saying that superman is weak just because he hasnt destroyed a moon is lowballing at its finest. We all know superman is planet busting level on a bad day(average supes not his post explosion state), it's his morals and the fact that he doesn't want to kill everyone on the planet he's on that keeps him from doing so. I'd put him at least on par with broly with much better intelligence and way more versatility than anybody in the dragonball universe.

@omega_kai: we'd have to agree to disagree on your first part, and as for the second I don't know anybody in dbz that matters whose powers aren't ki based, and none of them have intelligence on par with supes so even if they did have something like x-Ray vision, frost breath, heat vision, or the like they wouldn't be able to use it with the same efficiency as he does. I'm completely open for debate though.

I disagree. Buu's Candy Beam, Whis Time Manipulation and Spacial Distortion, Saiyans Telekinesis, Beerus Matter Manipulation and Sealing, Cell's Hax, Dabura's Spit, Janemba's Reality Warping ect.
